The Vietnamese bakery at Top Ryde shopping centre next to Woolworths. I’ve never seen a queue shorter than 25 metres for the past 2 years. Fantastic prices. Amazing variety including slow cooked bbq pork and lemon grass beef. Seriously, no better tasting pork rolls and no better value for money.

The old Marrickville pork roll shop is still there...it is just next door, now a juice bar. And Marrickville wins all day long. Most consistent quality.

Wow, your Vietnamese Pork Roll review was the best! I loved your honesty - you tell it like it is, which is refreshing. Fun writing style too, keep up the cheekiness and humour! Totally agree with your review about Hong Ha being bland. Maybe it appeals more to non-Vietnamese customers? LoL By the way, there are actually some better bakeries on Hughes St. in Cabramatta. Bankstown is another suburb with lots of Vietnamese people and good pork rolls.

In my Viet pork roll adventures, Xcel roll in Parramatta is the best I've found. Their roast pork with crackling and satay chicken thigh rolls are unbelievable. I tried the Coogee store once and it's not nearly as good as Parramatta. But ideally you have to go midday when it's busy and they're constantly restocking and everything's fresh.

When you were in Cabra, the shop next door is gun. It's open until like midnight and does the best rice paper rolls and fruit shakes...There's alot of stuff I don't know what it is but the place is super popular...Oh and they do like a mangoe/guava/pineapple and chilli mix that is super refreshing especially with a sugar cane juice...

One of the best in Sydney which people sleep on is the bakery next to the pub on the corner of Norton St and Parramatta Rd. They mix the Chili with the crackling so you get a nice even spread of heat.

The coriander excitement is very sweet 😊

How did he not go to Top Ryde Bakehouse!Their BBQ pork roll is off tap. Meat is so tender and juicy and a great price. Everyone knows how good it is and how famous they are for their massive long lines. Once got talking to someone behind me and they come from Gosford every Sunday for a pork roll. Timed the line once and it was an hour n 45min 😅

Marrickville has always been renowned for its pork rolls!!! Big Vietnamese community, especially in Tempe!

When I arrived in Australia first place I stayed was Marrickville...a 2 min walk from that pork roll place. First Aussie takeout was these pork rolls my 2nd day in Oz.

They were advertising the move when I was eating there and there is nothing like seeing the place your'e eating at in the Sydney news paper as the place to go for a Pork Roll.
