Sydney Rotors Meet

We turned up the the @Sydney Rotors meet & the carpark was already filling up! within an hour the 5 Level carpark was full to the brim with many of Australia’s best rotaries & toughest muscle cars.
From the moment you entered the ground floor of the carpark the place was alive! There was the Pac performance drag car on top of The Bearded Bakers shop as they brought the party!.... & a constant steam of epic cars!
The best engine bay went to Ziggy’s BAY13B… and good news; he has agreed to let us have a closer look! So stay tuned, that will be a BIG ep!
...and of course GOD RX2 went home with a boot full of trophies as well!!
Speaking of features…. We spotted a few familiar cars. Sam & Kristian’s 13b turbo RX4 sedan, Adel’s beautifully restored rx3… still sporting a GrassRoots sticker! We hope to feature his 2 door rexxyy very soon! Sam’s 808 wagon & Dave’s R100 made the trip up form the south coast, Ruby from Squad Customssounding just right and James’ track weapon of a Corolla managed to stay at idle for a few minutes….
There were a few Autosalon classics in attendance, a very familiar swift Gti & MR2….
We fell in love a few times; with a very clean mk1 escort, Lancia, an epic Cosworth Sierra & a timeless little beamer!

I grew up with the rotary since the 70s.my father own a rx2, with a 13b. Yellow with silver hub caps roof rakes of course to store the timbers, , , he stated to me he sold the car to buy a 253 station wagon holding Kingswood ,only we have out grown the rx at the time so the old Kingswood was ideal family car,
Luv dat Rotor Motorbike & dat Cordia Turbo does it for me!!!

Wish I’d come along, next time for sure.. it’s like Burwood laps on a Thursday night back in the day. Rotaries & 8’s giving it a blast under the railway bridge.

In my 20s I had a series 1 RX2 a series 3 RX2 and a 4 door RX4 now in my 50s I've got a fpv super pursuit but my heart still loves those 4ice burners lol Great to see so many rice burners still love them !!!

Gonzo the great Same. My first car was a 1974 rx4 coupe. Bought it for 6k. I was 20. Sold it a few years later for 5k. I regret selling that car. Im in my 40s now and it would have been awesome to take the kids in it for a Sunday drive.
