The writing genius of B.A Morgan just was levels ahead. How artistic of him to articulate his feelings in such a way. SWV encapsulated it so well. I always thought the music video didn't serve the song the way it should but those VOCALS sure did. I don't know how Coko found it hard to sing as that lady can sing an alphabet and slay it. Harmonies GORGEOUS!!!

@@faithtvonline she was probably used to singing gospel music and more runs. This is much cleaner. You can see in their older live versions that shes adds runs and a lot of ad libs, which makes sense because her voice is very agile.

Wow they still sound amazing. Weak was written and inspired for Chante Moore, but meant for SWV to have. I couldn't imagine any other vocal arrangement and only SWV can create that sound!

Weak was written about Chanté Moore not written for her. Brian Alexander Morgan was deeply in love with Chanté but she was dating a friend of his. So Brian put his heart and love for her in this song Weak. This was around late 80's-early 90's before her first album came out and they were living in the same apartment complex.
