@@OXY187 Eh... Why should the jedi lose if the movies were realistic ? The jedi, in the OT, win through relatively realistic tactics (asymmetric warfare and the lot). The jedi in the PT lose because of a combination of realistic tactics (Palpatine's ploy being reminiscent of various real life strategies and events) and sith powers, hence we can't be entirely sure that it is or isn't realistic. And the fact that SW are black and white (in what respect ?) or have a linear story (what is that supposed to mean here ?) doesn't change a thing to how realistic these movies are. By the way : it also doesn't change the fact that jedi are arrogant because they are successfull.

To an extent, they are canon. We know in canon that at least one Sith Empire ruled prior to the First Galactic Empire in Palpatine's line: "Once more, the Sith shall rule the galaxy, and we shall have peace". --Darth Sidious, to the Imperial Senate (Himself). Furthermore, it has been explicitly stated that the Mandalorian Wars happened in Star Wars: Rebels, in the following line: "History lesson; the Jedi won the war with Mandalore." -- Kanan Jarus, to Sabine Wren. Also in Rebels, Malachor V has been displayed on screen complete with a large Sith temple wherein a battle known as the Great Scourge of Malachor took place (it is from this battle where Kylo Ren's lightsaber design dates back to), and Filoni's earlier, more popular series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, introduced Moraband (Korriban) to canon material. There, one Master Yoda met an the spirit of Darth Bane, creator of the Rule of Two, and the spirits of many long-dead Sith, though these were an illusion: "Darth Bane. Creator of the Rule of Two, you are." -- Yoda, to Darth Bane's spirit. Yoda was also supposed to meet the spirit of Darth Revan, but that was dropped as it would imply Revan died a Sith, which contradicts the Legends story of Revan as a story of redemption. Also in canon, Rakata Prime exists, and the species known as the Selkath, first shown in KOTOR, were canonised in The Clone Wars. I believe there are plenty more references and portrayals to the Old Republic era I've missed, but note that they exist in canon. Thus, in bits and pieces, the Old Republic exists, and as the new canon progresses and the sequel trilogy is done and with it, a new generation of fans have been thoroughly introduced to the Star Wars saga, I firmly believe the history of the Old Republic will take shape once again, only more refined, and hopefully with less superweapons lying around in the Unknown Regions. All Lucasfilm requires to begin again is time, and who knows, maybe we'll explore the Old Republic on the big screen one day.

Ever since my first playthrough almost a decade ago now (man, I feel old), I have always had a happy little Star Wars fantasy of my SW leading a fleet of Sith ships to conquer the Clone Wars Era Star Wars galaxy. Maybe it is a Force Storm that does it, maybe a botched hyperspace jump, who knows? But damn if the galaxy wouldn't fold before just a dozen Harrowers. The True Sith would crush those Banite pretenders under heel. *Glory to the Empire, Glory to the Sith, Glory to Lord Wrath!*

Yo notice that all those epic themes are playing by some classical orchestra and I love it, but um, you know in terms of keeping consistency in SW universe, it doesn't make any sense. Like, can you imagine that some badass sith lord is saying that they need their own theme for their imperium, and then shits ale playing it on fucking trumpet or violoncellos and he is like yeah this is a fire? And on the other hand, we have this Cantina Theme, and boiz are playing it on some futuristic instruments. Dunno, what do you think?

There's a strong hint of Imperial motifs though. The Space Mission theme's refrain is common in other sith music, along with the Ancient Sith(Korriban) motif and the Dromund Kaas one.

Damn, Shae Vizla was such a hottie in her earlier years...
