SWR Class 701 Arterio Train First Ride... and there were issues!
join me as ride the new class 701 for the first time... albeit the issues with the level crossing and delays, it was a great ride! i'm looking forward to riding one again soon and they will bring so many improvements to the SWR network!

These trains are also state of the art in terms of acceleration on third rail, fastest accelerating 100mph DC unit in the country. Not sure if it’s noticeable when you’re actually on the train but it’ll make a big difference to journey times as those old 455s and similar are much much slower

@@bus3s Read again, fastest 100mph dc train. 777s are 75mph geared.

@@bus3s Yeah, they're they are. But the 701 is the fastest accelerating 100mph geared train.
