I have a half-theory. Whenever we defeat Meta Knight, the only visible mark is the mask breaks in half. He doesn't seem exhausted or weakened, he just leaves. Does that mean, the whole time, we just damaged his mask, and he could have gone on even longer, but he didn't want to risk his life any further?

Theory for a Kirby game: what if.. meta knight turns on Kirby (the real one was kidnapped and that one was a clone) Kirby at the end then kills the clone meta knight and frees the true meta knight. Can we talk about the line directly after "and if those whose goal, os to steal your goal, try to sway your mind then you must outsmart" this references how fecto tried to take over the mind of meta knight (and most likely kirby as well). But he resisted it as stated in one of his gotcha figures

I gotta say, it's a refreshing change to _not_ have Meta Knight get put out of action or outright controlled by the game's antagonistic force when he isn't playable. I feel like that's happened too often in full Kirby games by now. No, instead he's already fought off ID-F86's corrupting influence with just sheer f*cking will alone and the only reason he's not busting backsides with Kirby this time is because someone has to protect the village when you're out saving Waddle-Dees. Meta Knight in this game is done pretty damn good tbh.

Still love how everyone agrees the anime voices are canon.

I love the idea of Meta Knight being a mentor for Kirby, who only fights him because he knows he can make Kirby stronger for the sake of the world. And I think someone else said this here, but probably the only reason Meta Knight's not out there kicking ass with Kirby is because someone's gotta stay behind and take out Gorimondo's kneecaps whenever he tries to attack the town.

If you’re gonna do any more KaTFL songs,the 2 most requested will most definetlly be Morpho and Elfillis,so here’s some suggestions. Efillis: While singing high above,Elfillis taunts both Kirby and Elfllin,along with the worlds they’re hopelessly protecting. Along with him singing,a chorus can be heard of the inhabitants from The Forgotten Land,cheering Kirby on as he approaches The Roche Limit. Morpho: Unlike Elfillis,Morpho doesn’t actually sing at all. He’s mainly focused on testing Kirby to see just how strong the protector of dreamland has gotten. So instead? The chorus of the dead/fallen sing FOR him. And by the end,he only says a simple “Well done.” after Kirby defeats him.

That perfectly explains why Meta Knight would want a tournament to do battle with Kirby. He already experienced the threat that Kirby will have to come up against, albeit indirectly, and wants to confirm that Kirby is both not being controlled and is strong enough to face down that threat. And as we learn afterwards, Meta Knight couldn't do it himself because he was defending Waddle Dee Town from the Beast Pack while Kirby was out saving Waddle Dee's.

I love that since Right Back at Ya, we all agree that Meta Knight has an Hispanic accent! Also, its funny because Meta Knight probably knows that he will never win Kirby, even when teaming up with Dedede, being both possessed, but probably still fights with him because its known he wants to become stronger and stronger, and also because he knows how to "train" Kirby, as he's still a baby. I wonder if Meta Knight its actually the one who knows that he's a reincarnation from VOID, as they seem to be from the same species... I wish HAL tell us someday in a new game.

Bro Meta Knight was EXTREMELY fun to fight when I played Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

Not only was this awesome, but you used the the anime’s voice which made it even better

Fun Fact: when Meta Knight drops his sword upon parrying him, you can grab it and you always get the Meta Knight Sword, even if you don't have it unlocked, Meta Knight also uses his sword from Kirby's Adventure when you do that

this nails meta knights character! He has a strong will power and won't stop fighting. And he means no evil intentions he will train kirby to fight the beast pack and sound heroic while doing so! This is why meta knight is my favorite kirby character.

Kirby is, no contest, the canonical strongest character in the roster of Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. By a large margin. His lore strength is absolutely ridiculous compared to his gameplay and his image.

@@DragonLordG Joker says hi. He literally killed 3 gods. 3 gods. Once with a massive Bat version of Hades, specifically its gun, once with his own gun, and once with his whole team, plus a knife. Not to mention he’s killed plenty of shadows and has an army of Personas at his use.

Very epic with the anime voice accent too! Makes me want to fight Meta Knight again with these lyrics blaring!

This is how I see Meta Knight in games where he isnt mind controlled. He just wants Kirby to be strong enough so he tests Kirby. Truly a good friend/mentor

No matter how many times I rewatch this, this never stops amazing me!

I absolutely love this! And it is so cool how you did Meta Knight’s singing voice, it’s like I’d imagined it to be! It’s also cool because the voice actor for Meta Knight in the English dub is actually a singer, and now the character himself is a singer, too!

He's protecting Waddle Dee Town too, but he knows Kirby is the one destined to save the world, not him, so he supports and trains Kirby as much as he can to ensure the world can be saved

Even using the Mexican accent from the anime. Love it!
