I started watching this movie in another channel which had poor picture quality. It was bit dull and did not like watching it. In this channel its excellent .

The first Arthur film to portray Lancelot and Guinevere having a physical adultery as well as portray Mordred as Arthur’s illegitimate son. The previous film KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE had to tone down some things: the affair was emotional only & Mordred became Arthur’s brother-in-law.

A family member bought a really low quality copy of this film for me to watch. It didn't matter though as to me this is a hidden gem in cinema.

The Monk in the belfry is havin' WAY too much fun...!

Great film, remember watching it as kids then leathering hell out of each other in the back yard with plastic swords....

Love the classics where the king wears a crown, the good wear white and the bad are dressed in black, just in case anyone in the audience had trouble following the plot.

This is just like First knight with Richard Gere, only this one is better, the ending is much better.

Shame it's a cut version. Peckinpah learnt a lot from this man.

I saw this sixty years ago and I'm pretty sure that first duel ended a lot more bloody than Cornel Wilde's look of indigestion. Is this edited?

See this film on Hollywood Classics. Good quality and uncut violence.

@@per-arnemoa103 It absolutely is not OK! They were bloodthirsty/vengeful/bound by honour back then as portrayed in the original cut. YT seems to have issues with historical authenticity just as it does with medical science. The question is WHY?

Oh dear , Snowflake wokey youtube blurred out a crummy battle injury., how pathetic.

It didn't end well. the whole movie was about two people in love with each otheer. Much killing over their romance. Then when you think that is was worth the investment of 2 hours. they seperated at the end with sadness when they could havew been toghther forever. I hated the film because it leaves you sad and disapointed when it could have vary easily ended with joy and happiness.🤨

But that's why the film is good.. I feel todays movies spoon feed the audience and constantly give happy endings..Which is fine, but can also be very very repetitive..I feel todays films are generic, and samey..Really looking forward to the new beetlejuice though..That looks awesome

That's actually how the Arthurian legend of Lancelot and Guinevere's forbidden love ends: they die separated from each other. 🙃 The least they could do to purge their mutual burden of having caused the ruin of Camelot and King Arthur's Round Table.
