Funny how nost vids on YT screaming with "These DLC weapons OP!!!1" and none of them feature Sword Lance - the real MvP. This thing is busted. It gives me 120 more physical AR over normal Lance. Throw in a Two Handed talisman (+15% dmg), Cragblade (+15% more) and you have nearly 1k pure physical before even counting in the Spear talisman. On top of that R2s get a hyperarmor, which is unusual for HTS class in general. It's filthy, it's insane and frankly absolutely terrifying in PvP if one knows how to use it. Oh and it looks badass AF. What's not to love about it?

Didn’t even think about using crag with it cause I just love the cold infusion with repeating strikes.

Avid serpent hunter enjoyer here (the good kind). This looks like another fun moveset weapon for me to use ;)

Killing commander Gaius is a bitch and a half but at least its worth it for his armor set and this weapon.

Definitely a unique take on the heavy thrusting sword. Although I do question giving it that running r2 when there are better lance attacks it could have gotten

Dude, when i saw the first trailer i thought this weapon was a great gravity lance and i was so excited, but when finally i got the chance to use it, i got really dissapointed. Not just because it was something different but because it has one of the worst heavy attacks in the game replacing the reliable moveset of HTS. Sure, as you show in here, the heavy attack comboes into an light attack, and well yeah it might be useful, but my biggest issue is the heavy running, it has the average lance running attack, and you know what that means. this weapon has an insane str scaling tho. Idk... probably i'm more used to play with hts a bit more offensively, and this weapon looks more for a defensive playstile, i still will give it a try.

hts run r2 is better on hard swap anyways. This is good because you can trade with the r2, but most of your hits on hts come from jump r1, holding prio with standing r1, and flaming strike. Although most of the time hts players will flaming strike after landing the run r2. Still good you just have to play it differently than a regular hts.
