Previous gameverse characters are done, their story is over and FD has nothing to do in continuity with the previous games. Last Recollection was the ending of the entire gameverse story that started with Hollow Fragment.

October IS litterally the Best month for Anime Gaming, DB Sparking! ZERO, SAO Fractured Daydream & GGO II Anime

This looks like a fun game! If I'm being honest, I was never able to get on board with the Gameverse I don't know, maybe it's because from what I heard those games tended to dig their teeth into some of the things that people (mostly the haters) try to claim why the series is bad. But this game, it has my attention.

Everybody’s thinking it, so I’ll do them a favor and actually say it: “Will they put Quinella’s birthday suit version behind a paywall?”

I'm liking the new OC characters, especially Fuuka. Sadly I guess she won't be playable since the website says she's a test avatar with no combat ability (basically NPC), even if we see her fight with a dagger in the trailer. DLC characters are confirmed too and I'm hoping to see the rest of the Sleeping Knights. I feel like Mito will join too. Hopefully the game's well received and gets at least 3 years worth of updates/DLCs.

Ah, so the story reveals itself. Parts of it, anyway. Welp, this looks like it’ll be an adventure. Not sure if I’m ready for the inevitable $60-$70 price tag, but eh, it is what it is. The mere second Eugeo becomes available he’s becoming my most played character.

That’d definitely attract more people, but I dunno if I agree on making characters paid content and the game free. Why not just have it all there for a lower price? I know it’s not a fair comparison to make since it’s two completely different devs, but after LR’s crash at the market, I doubt many people will be willing to pay full price for an SAO game after that. But hey, who am I to judge. So far I have yet to see what makes the game worth that $60-$70 price tag, but I guess I’ll keep my eyes peeled.

why on OCTOBER WHY!!!! sparking zero is october 7 and metaphor re:fantasio is on the 11 now this game comes on october 3? man october is stacked this hurts. i was so looking forward to playing this game and it conflicts with other games that comes out the same month. im happy we finally got the release date but damn which do i get

So this is looking to be the first SAO game where we can’t customize Kirito to be our OC. At least I can play as whoever I want. Hopefully they don’t pull a Lost Song and force us to play as Kirito at some points.

Day 1 purchase! Better begin pre ordering soon on my PSN site! (but first I need to invest in a new SSD as I have a feeling it is going to eat a lot of the hard drive there especially with the updates and DLC...)!

This looks like a ftp game. If they charge money it better have a nice sp campaign and all missions playable with ai. Not so sure on this yet. The gameplay looks solid though.

So far, no. The game is fully focused on the available cast and Multiplayer is balanced around unique characters with their unique sets. There is no place for a random self insert.

Can all the items for the Premium Edition be preordered if you preorder a physical copy of the game?

It's unclear what the situation with the physicals in the West will be, until Bandai Namco EU and US post their version of the trailer. I was hoping they would, but it seems they may wait until Anime Expo.

The game looks fine, but can't really get interested now that the gameverse is essentially dead
