Ola, it's James, aka S.E.T. in New Orleans. I wanted to tell you that Solar guitar packing is excellent. I bought four guitars and all made it to new orleans with no damage. Jim and the folks at S7G are absolutely cool as hell. I bought a lefty 7 string from them at NAMM ‘14, and the neck was wonky. So i sent it in to Jim, he emailed me back saying he hated the guitar, the neck was all fucked up, so he built me a brand new lefty- far better, killer active pickups, floyd, at no charge. such a cool deal. I easily got double the guitar for my initial purchase…..

Maybe Jim was a good guy getting in too deep. But the fact is that he bit off more than he could chew, started cutting corners and then made several very long videos where he was ragging on customers for voicing very legitimate complaints with some of their builds. That was NOT cool. He let the pressure get to him and wasn't able to take the high road.

You made me laugh a few times this episode mister Ola. Good show old boy!

I went to instagram for a while before coming back to watch because I don't want to join the premier in the middle of a video. I like to watch the whole thing from the start. JFAC is one of my favorite bands since the Genesis album. Doom was good, but I much preferred the style they went to afterwards. The bass tone on the “Sun Eater” album was so good. Reminded me of Ryan from Mudvayne on L.D. 50.

Ola, I know you prolly won't see this but I'd absolutely love to see the S7 Solar homage guitar in 8 string too. It's absolutely classy as all hell as is but I'd love to rock it in the 8 string format if that ever were to become a possibility in the future.

I was a part of the Fender cancellations. I bought a new Jackson Rhoads and when I opened the box the long horn had a chip in the tip, dirty old strings, missing whammy bar. Store apologized to me and ordered on directly from Fender. They said 8 weeks, then another 8 weeks, and halfway through the second 8 weeks, I had to cancel knowing they couldn’t come through.

The Russian "daredevil" video is probably the most Russian thing I've ever seen. Went exactly how I expected it would go too! Surprised dude lived tho, that's truly remarkable.
