Just wanna say I think Mick Mars is a super underrated guitarist. He may have been overshadowed by other loud personalities in the band, but I feel he was what really made their music work.

Man, I feel so sorry for Floor. Going to see her in a couple of weeks in Birmingham with Nightwish, and I bet she'll still come out with that big smile on her face she usually has, despite everything that's going on. I hope she's okay.

Struggle unboxings are the best unboxings

I think we need a special episode of SMOLA (Sonntag Mit OLA), completely in broken german, mostly consisting of swearing... Also it's funny how every now and then I, as a german, tend to swear with my few swedish swear words and the swedish man swears in german; cultural exchange is a beautiful thing.

My fave Ola saying “look at this!”

I've got a lefty Snakebyte in satin black and they are freaking awesome guitars. The extra curves and cutaways/bevels on the body make it really comfortable. I upgraded my LTD Snakebyte with actual EMG electronics because on the LTDs they don't use the EMG pots, just the HET set pickups, and such like they do on the ESP version. Using the EMG pots make a real difference in sound and they are so much smoother that the cheap pots it came with.

It’s so bittersweet knowing Ozzy wants to keep going but can’t. The man seriously deserves to relax but you know he doesn’t want to stop. I wished I could’ve seen him in concert but the tickets sold out almost right away.

It's no different from watching some live show from youtube. Nightwish had a live show streamed during lockdown which was kinda cool but it's not even close to seeing them actually live.

Back in 98 I went to a Slayer concert at the FL State Fairgrounds and while Biohazard were playing, their guitar player climbed onto a giant set of mains they had and I was a couple rows back from him, I didn't think he was going to jump because he was in the middle of a song with his guitar in his hands but he did, right as I looked away from him he jumped, from about 15 to 20 feet up in the air from me and his butt landed square on top of my head. I thought he might have broken my neck cause I collapsed to the ground and I didn't even know what happened at first and I may have even blacked out for a few seconds but after some time I recovered. I've had neck problems ever since that incident. He ruined that whole concert for me cause of all the pain he put me in, I'm not even sure if he knew what he did but I know for a fact he had to feel like my head almost went into his ass, so now at concerts I just get away from the stage if I think someone's going to jump into the crowd. I can't recall if he even apologized but I don't think he did.

To me, seeing that LTD Snakebyte with the matte camouflage paint, makes me think that James wanted to pay respects to fellow ESP artist Jeff Hanneman.

I saw Black Sabbath live in Stockholm in the 2000s. One of, if not the last tour they did with all original members.

I dropped in some of EMG HET-SET pickups in Brushed Gold, into my Epiphone Slash Firebird & now it's Metal Firebird of biblical proportions. Btw, the Fishman Fluences on Gibson/Epi is using Gibson 490R & 498T and another Gibson pickup model in them. EDIT: I Play through an 04 Mesa Single Rectifier Solo Head 2ch/6 voice 50 watt & 04 Mesa Recto 2x12 horizontal cab 2 gr8 stock Celestion Vintage 30s closed back, not to be confused with the post 06 Celestion Vintage 30s crap backs. A Seymour Duncan Twin tube Mayhem thru the fx loop for a boost, other pedals too but this is getting long.

Now THAT was unboxing.
