Love seeing all those barns and homesteads. Saskatchewan is an amazing province, reminds me of eastern Colorado and Nebraska. The prairies feed the world.

Most grain farming didn’t go to feeding people The majority of the corn grown in North America goes to industrial manufacturing
@robinghunt

@@dantethunderstone2118 not true. The crops grown go into animal feed, grains go into flour, seeds go into oil production, soybeans go into food production and animal food. Yes, there is a lot produced for industrial use but it supports food production as well.
Drone shots are primo! Don't lick the beaters, that's not cake.

Really enjoyed the footage of the abandoned farmstead. Your choice of music suited the images well.
Loved the footage of the abandoned homestead. If you could get wifi to that place some people would dream of living in that sort of isolation.
Really cool video of the old barns!
Very cool shot of the suspension!! The old homestead segment was neat too Jan!!
That old farmstead must have be around for a long time, I did not see an actual roadway or driveway leading into the yard.
How old are these former farm buildings? Very nice drone shot!
Great video , Jan you explain things well , everyone working hard , stay safe , enjoy , team work !
The drone shots of the old homestead were amazing!!! If only those old houses and barns could talk, the stories heard would be nothing short of epic!!!! 💯👍👍 Who's white beemer is that?? Looks lowered? Sweet ride...
Take it off the rim turn the tire around.Keep it for emergency. Or put it back on for off-road only.
Awesome shots of the building that dot the area that have survived the test of time...❤
Again your eye for the shot comes through. If that old barn could only talk the stories it would have. Hopefully this week brings you a good amount of much needed spring moisture. Fingers crossed. I just about put the snow shovels back in the attic on the weekend and then I thought nah too early for that around here.😅
Thanks Jan for sharing the new video. May you quickly repair the manure spacer. 👍
love the drone footage
Great video Jan. When you are done, give the Bunning a bath.
great video some cool shots always good to see you working with your dad..a man of few words but when he talks it means something
3:10 man what I would have given back when I had my wood working shop to have that old barn. There's about 100k USD worth of beautiful old wood in that. "I used to make custom birdhouses/old wild west towns etc from old barn/house wood like that" I had one customer that spend over 2K USD for a town about 4' X 8'
Next time I would use a Powerpin Articulating Ball Hitch way better hooking up and can easily swap the bushings out to any pin size without any tool. They also make that drawbar and hammerstrap for pretty much every CNH tractor and almost every other tractor on the planet. They are also in SK only a few hours away from you.
very cool suspension!
The house and barn make me sad. It reminds me that each new beginning comes from some some other beginning's end.
Sucks about that tire. Depending on how that suspension sits, think about rotating the tires to prolong the life of a set.
Hey Jan i love too see the drone shoot it's so beautifull
I enjoy all your video's!!
Dad has the "This may cost money' look ..😀
Good summer good video
Beautiful photography. Well done
Something beautiful about the Canadian Prairie farm barns and farmhouses. Thanks for sharing!
The drone shots of the old barns and houses were fabulous. Thank you for another interesting video 😊
Nice artistic video of the shingles and old buildings
Nice drone shots. Like the new intro.
That is a beautiful old farmstead. I love it.
Great video brother from the imperial county California 🇺🇲👍
Your work reminded me of my Grad. Year in 1970 at the U of S in Saskatoon. I went to see a professor about an assignment and he blurted out, "Where were you when the turd hit the fan?" I am not sure why I thought of that visit when you were spreading the dry manure near the end of the video.
7:48 your father that sucks Jan ❤
Hi jan İts very good to watch you I wish you all the best Greetings from İstanbul
Loved the drone footage of the old farm time will put in into the earth but times of the past priceless
Is there a story on the old barn and house in the drone shots?
That new into 👌
Jan you the Drone Man. Great opening video! Excellent quality and music. If those buildings could talk.
That’s where a grapple comes in handy!
Hi Jan. Falling into the Poop Pit, is not advisable !! I love the smell of Poop in the morning, especially Finely Curated and Age Dried POOP !!! Doing Doughnuts in a Poop Mobile on a Prairie Farm should be a new competition sport. Along with Stock Car Racing and Destruction Derby's.
Tyre is gone. A steel belt is broke in that tyre. Had it happen before here in Holland.
Love seeing the old barns, but what year did you wash that spreader last clean machine makes it easier to maintain
Are we preparing any bird flu protocols. Since these birds are migrating and 6 states have now have detected it in dairy herd....
Love the sky art - drone footage of spreading the manure.
Never been to Canada but it’s really beautiful there! Those old bars and homesteads I really like. Often wonder when I see these what kind of life the see people had.
Couldn't smell a thing! Maybe you need to adjust the 'smell-o-vision' settings eh! LOL

Smell-O-vision. Was thinking the same thing!! The smell of that stuff is permanently etched into my memory banks, from my summers spent on my uncles dairy farm when I was a kid!!👍
I enjoyed the video presentation and cut scenes . Nice editing. 👍
That was sick!!! Snow drift -4 lol
I like the view when you where loading the manurewagon!😁
Is that a tree farm next to the dairy

No. Just a grove of scotch pines. Planted just because his parents like trees.
Nice drown shots of the old barn and homestead, "👎Case", dad will not know till he sees the video, at least it didn't run out, no priming the system.
Thanks for the update on the hitch. Does it take a lot of the jars out
What about some rye for that sandy soil? I have gravelly soil and the rye is amazing, it has huge roots and really adds bio matter to the soil, so it hold the moisture so much better.
great job guys
Those old buildings are the coolest thing!
good job!
I roll my canola as well as everything else just in case it lodges like it so often does in our area of Manitoba
Nice information
I hope these KZread videos are paying off for you Jan. It’s obvious you put a lot of work into it now, and with the drones too. Much appreciated my boy. Maybe it’ll help pay for that Raptor!
Love the new camera view
GOOD AFTERNOON
Nice to see the Boss Man! :)
Was hoping you'd talk more about the three beaters on the Bunning, specifically the master beater?
Hopefully there's a cheese update in this video just starting to watch it
Jan, I have a question for you, would you be willing to try a different pair of boots besides Dunlop thermo's like the ones you are always wearing on your videos. Please and thank you. Maybe try baffin or dakota or helly hansen boots, please reply back about what you think? Thanks again
👍
Did you look in a manure solid separator to reduce volume that goes into the Lagune?

He said in another video that it's not within their budget right now.
Nice video
Hadn’t seen the sight seeing shots in a while. Those early homesteaders had to be a hardy bunch.
After your dad inspected the tire you did a drone shot and in this shot there was a field of pretty trees. Do you all sell trees?
@saskdutchkid
3 ай бұрын
We do not
Good video.
I see you have a nice Grove of conifer next to the barn there.Do you sell christmas trees
@MellowYe77ow
3 ай бұрын
Nope. His parents simply like trees.
Try simpletire they sell bkt tires that I’ve been running on my skid loader the last few years. They’re good tires, that last as long as tires that cost 20 to 30% more.
What months do they cut winter wheat and what providences in Canada. We are planning a trip this summer to Glacier National Park and wanting to cross into Canada and work our way back east thru Canada. One of my Bucket List Items

@MellowYe77ow

No, his parents planted them, because they simply like trees.
The 'Safety Squint' you call it?!😂
Jan the drone shot of the farm to the right has a like Mini forest. What is that?

Scotch pines, planted simply because his parents like trees.
You can still have a little bit of frost at night I think.🤔

Hear me out: Clean the bunning manure spreader out, remove the beaters, and use it to truck silage during harvest?

Imagine the stories that little family farm could tell.
Safety squint 😆

You have changed man and i mean alot sence last video i seen of yours wich was a year ago or more 😊
7:30 How many bolts were missing on the Yellow Tire?
Put enough shit on and anything will grow 😂😂!
Wow can’t believe that pit is that big and how deep is the pit?Do you guys own those old buildings in the fields. And would you be interested in selling the lumber they clean the mess up and look up Mark Bowe from West Virginia , he come and looks at it first then quote a price .He has a crew that will come in a dissemble the building a clean up. You’ll have to look him up on internet to get his address and phone number. I watch these guys on television their awesome people. Trying to cover us up in manure wow.
