Switching power supply for Viper22A

Ғылым және технология

Hi all! Today, I'll show you how to make a simple 18 watt switching power supply. This is a flyback that can output 12 volts with 1.5 amps of current! I will tell you how to make a wiring board, wind a transformer and what parts to wind. And in the end, together we protest it!

    more strength to you keep good work going. I can say u are one of the best i have ever seen on the internet that is doing wonderfully well in explaining power Electronics very very well. Indeed, where u beat others is that u explain with the illustration of showing the turns of ur winding,

    And thank you for watching. I think the transformer is the most difficult part, and some bloggers don’t show how to make it well, so I’m trying to do it in more detail so as not to repeat their mistakes.

    With this comrade and Viper chip you are really spoiling us. Please consider designing a dual rail +/-12 or 15v with 5v DC supply.

    Would you please do a full 20min tutorial about transformer and inductors with all their calculations including choosing best cores and what frequency is suitable depending on the core(ferrite, iron powder etc) and application.

    Unfortunately, it will take a lot of time to prepare this video. It will be released in the future, but I can’t tell you the exact date.

    really talented for winding your own transformer with air gap adjustment, also can you show smps with other commonly available chips or power transistors like 13003, i wanted to make a dual 5v & 12v/2A each.

    How did you choose the value of the EMI filter inductor on the AC line side

  • @Den_Electro_channel

    @Den_Electro_channel

    11 ай бұрын

    It is necessary to look at the cross section of the wire wound on the filter so that it does not heat up from the passing current. You can also calculate the required inductance of the inductor based on the frequency at which the power supply operates. But there are very complex calculations, I do not use them. Therefore, I always look only at the cross section of the wire. You seem to work for some electronics company. If you know an easy way, please let me know.

    please helpme, instead of getting 12v dc ouput, my PSU getting 45v output. how to regulate the output?

    how do you figuring out the TL431 to regulate the ouput?

  • @Den_Electro_channel

    If everything is correct, then the voltage should be 12 volts. And if you have 45 at the output, then you have a mistake somewhere in the circuit, or the parts are faulty. Are you sure the TL431 is working? If you connect something incorrectly, it is easy to burn it. How TL431 changes the voltage can be understood here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/f3dm1beeqN3Sp5c.html
