He didn't steal anything, and as far as I know Melody received him in her house, Travis is a great guy

Melody was suppose to defend Travis when Emmet told him that he wasnt part of the family otherwise that just proves how she agrees with him.

Melody is a better mom to Travis, than his own birth mom

Wth ... Travis was trying to make the evening work . He didn't even mention Bay Or his how baseball is going or anything Emmett may be depressed but what is Travis suppose to do?? Just not show up after she asked him to come ?? Seriously just saying he is depressed or stressed out I get it but this lashing out behavior was not acceptable I hope the writers get it together with emmetts character

Umm, I'm pretty sure that John storyline was at least supposed to be a LITTLE funny. The tone of every scene was far more light-hearted than most.

They ruined the Emmet character for me😭💩

travis never stole bay from him tho. emmett broke up with her then dated skye afterwards but didn't like it when travis was into her or even when they got together. he told her himself that they'd been disconnected for months and that they were growing apart. what did he expect by the end of all of that? for bay to still be available and dump travis just to go back to him? nah she deserved someone emotionally mature atp

Melody should have just sit them down and said "This has gone too far. I want you 2 to settle this right now"

This reminds me of how much I liked this show. I'm not one to stop whatever I'm doing and have to be around to watch a show every week. But this show was one of the few that I did. Interesting plot, and great characters. ABC Family / Freeform days were the best. I watched Secret Life for years as well.

Sean Berdy is just terrific. But man, they've got him under POUNDS of make-up.

The vitriol for Emmett is insane! Yes, he made mistakes. So did Bay. They were teenagers for heaven’s sake. Do you know how many kids go out to college away from home and lose themselves trying to figure out who they are? A lot, especially the ones trying to make it in movie and television industry. Do you know how many teenagers realize they have no plans of their own and so they latch onto the one thing they feel they have going for them and cling for dear life? It’s called codependency and it also happens A LOT! Emmett made mistakes, because he’s human. He has strengths and weaknesses. Like every other character on this show. That doesn’t mean he’s a bad person or that he doesn’t deserve happiness ever again. Bay was the one who chose to lie to her boyfriend about where she was going and who she was with. That opportunity was the first good thing to happen for him in awhile, but it was tied to Bay, who wouldn’t do it because of Travis. Both boys had a right to be angry, but it was Bay’s decisions they were holding against each other.

When you first meet Travis you think to yourself that he was rude and mean but then you truly understand what he went through at home. A lot of times in any home if you have a neglectful parent and an abusive step parent or whatever that dude was your anger comes out,when you’re outside of your home. but even more so when you’re deaf and your parents won’t learn American Sign Language, and kind of are your first bullies, including your siblings is what Travis had ,and you can have anger issues, but he brought himself out of that on his own. With maybe a positive influence of Daphne and bay and I thought Emmett who I thought was his friend and is the worst friend ever. like does he not get he’s so privileged to have two deaf parents who gave him language access, and even if they were hearing probably would’ve given him language access because they’re loving and caring parents ,and that’s what Melanie is for Travis and instead of being happy for your friend !you’re being jealous because you threw your girlfriend away ,Played with her heart throughout the relationship and he’s being a better boyfriend than you could ever be .y’all were all friends, so how can he steal your friends or your mother? When I rewatch switched at birth, I realize how awful Emmett sorta was. He had some redeemable qualities, but you really get that he was the worst boyfriend he was such a bad friend to Travis and didn’t really appreciate many things!

The thing that bothers me about the whole Bay and Travis relationship(besides the fact that I think they are so mismatched)is hasn't Travis ever heard of the bro code? Can’t stand Emmett he made out everyone else was the problem and then never listened/reasoned with anyone, he felt only he was right and others were wrong, if Bay made a mistake she made an effort to apologise and fix things but Emmett didn’t really see his faults only until he realised too late what he lost, by then the damage was done, Travis was better he would do better and fix things and be there for others

Emmett cheated on her three times, he first kissed Daphne, slept with Simone and then connected with Skye all while with Bay. It's not because he's young because Travis is the same age and never did any of that shit. Even when he was with Mary Beth and was surrounded by pretty girls.. he never acted out anything against his GH. Bro code is broken when you fuck up lolx
