SwitchBot Lock | 9 Month Verdict
Ғылым және технология
In this video I tell you about my experience of using the SwitchBot Smart Lock for nearly 10 months on my front door.
You can integrate it with Home Assistant which is always a bonus!
I give you the good bits and the areas for improvement.
This video was created independently of SwitchBot and is my honest review as a SwitchBot customer.

You deserve a lot more likes and subscriptions, very to the point and clear review, covers everything important and doesn't waste any time. Thank you!
Thanks for the info! Did you ever get HA integration working with username & password?

Thanks for the comment! Yes, I did manage to get it working. I had to create a new SwitchBot account and link the lock to that instead. I can now use with Home Assistant Bluetooth Proxies, which has been much more reliable and quicker to unlock than using the SwitchBot cloud API.

I know know for sure as I don't have that lock, but looking at a picture online I would say I will NOT work. It looks like the bit you turn would be too wide. The SwitchBot lock is more designed for something that rotates in a circle rather than pushing down if that makes sense.
