Season 9 Episode 8 (Landlord) features Nottingham representative ‘Switchblade’, founder of the rap collective ‘The Landlordz’.
We had a last minute cancellation so we were grateful that he could make it down and have him share his turbulent life journey on the RTM sofa.
Hailing from St Anne’s, Switchblade talks us through what it was like growing up in Nottingham; school days; getting into music and starting the group ‘The Landlordz’; doing a mixtape with SN1 called ‘Narm 2 Notts’; getting shot and a lot more. Switch says that Giggs stole the name ‘Landlord’ when Switch went jail and he’s not happy about it.
After bringing us up to date with what he’s doing now; we put Jay through his ‘RTM Fire Round’ and got into some ‘Current Affairs’ and the main subject was ‘The Landlord’. After having a break for some ‘RTM Banter’, we got into the ‘RTM Dilemma’ and ‘Book Suggestion’ which closed the show as usual along with some RIP’s & 3’s.

The more I watch these trailers is more I see spray is really the 1 I blame for the unnecessary dumb conversation and the landlord name then I think to myself it makes sense spray is still traumatised so by bringing a next man on that has issues with giggs it will make spray not look like he's going crazy by himself...2 crazy people on thesame couch chatting about 1 guy that's affected them this much is maddd!!!
