What is Smart Glass?

Is it me or the clear state looks still very hazy?

You're correct in noticing that there can be a slight haze in the clear state of our Smart Glass and Smart Film. This is due to the small droplets within the PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) layer that can scatter light. Our PriWatt Film has the lowest haze level (3%) on the market today, but under certain light conditions or viewing angles, some haze may be noticeable. Would you like to learn more about how to minimize this effect or would you like information on other aspects of our products?

Hi, I have a technical question. We saw smart glass today in one local showroom. Unfortunately, we noticed that the glass (when transparent) looks slightly misty like it was a little bit dusty. Is it normal? If so, could you please tell me which type ( technology) of smart glass is the most transparent / clear without this dusty view. Also, does smart glass deteriorate over time somehow? Thanks

Not a big fan of the haze look the glass appears to have when not in privacy mode. Will wait until this technology matures another 5 ~ 10 years before pulling the trigger on something like this. Although i must say, it is pretty cool.
