You know I do like the switch, but the wii u is the most underrated console ever. Far too much unnecessary hate. The wii u had great games such as mario kart 8. And the wii u was backwards compatible with all wii games. I definitely like the wii u better than the original wii. Out of the wii u and the switch, i like the switch just a little bit better

Isaiah Harrison Yes the switch is definitely superior now. But when the wii u came out, it should've got more credit. And besides, "wii u" isn't the stupidest name for a console. Nintendo released the "new 3ds" in 2015. I was definitely confused by that, considering the original 3ds was technically new when it came out.

What I'm about to say is probably going to come off as very narrow minded and even perhaps slightly dogmatic but I'll say it anyway; I never owned a WiiU. I never even contemplated purchasing one. I've been a Nintendo fan ever since my parents bought me a Gameboy when I was a kid. I've purchased every Pokémon game, every Zelda game and countless other titles on release day for as long as I remember. I've also owned every single Nintendo console (most again, were bought on release date) since the N64 to the Switch. The WiiU however, never really enticed me to drop the money on it. I won't go in to the fine details as to why as the entire Internet has beaten that dead horse a second grave but if Nintendo failed to convince someone as loyal the company as me to buy their home console, something was very wrong. It seems like they're well aware of the problems the system had, the small library of games hopefully won't be repeated for the Switch and I will be picking up the new console as soon as. The WiiU is probably not a bad console, and the games available were probably very good. They just needed more and I think they've learned lessons because of the console's sales performance. Just wanted to give my two cents to this video. Great video Balrog.

jeez man, i was starting to think you werent coming back. last time i saw you was well before the Switch was finally announced for real and then here you are about 3 months after the thing comes out.

Is it selfish of me to hope that the uptake of the Switch is slower than suggested so Nintendo will keep the 3DS alive for a bit longer? The 3DS is probably my favourite portable system ever, especially given the fact it can play the immense library of DS games as well. I just know that the success of the Switch will mean the death of support for 3DS, which is a crying shame IMO.

I did enjoy the Wii U myself, too. But I also fell into that trap of not having much to play on it for a long while, aside from when Pokken came out, because I'd been excited for months to play it and it didn't disappoint. So I can understand the angle people come from on saying it failed to grab our interest, and that it didn't have a big enough library. While I was hesitant to consider a Switch right away because of having a Wii U, I also was planning to just wait it out and see if the problems it had would be resolved and for the library to get bigger. Seeing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe first hand through KZread videos and hearing about Pokken Tournament DX also really sold me on it, and seeing more of the features and things about what it's got going on really help me feel more at ease picking it up later. Maybe once the price comes down a little or if there's a sale, or after one of the main games I want is released. I do hope it'll give us some compatibility with Wii U games, though.

+Balrog HERE I AM! Yes I'm way late, no I won't explain, let's begin! Now at the time this video first came up I, of course was excited I'm always excited when you release another video, ANYWAYS! This one was cool because it showed your opinion on the Nintendo Swith and, ya I wanted your impute on it, see your opinions of it before I buy it, I'm sort of waiting for there to be a possible price drop on black friday which is why I haven't bought one as of yet BUT I WANT TO! Well enough said, Let's begin!.....oh my gosh we're almost done with the marathon! After the Pro's and Con's were spoken, and the Baby was droped by Jerry himself: The video is pretty good, and is informative as usual, the skits are funny too, ESPECIALLY the ending scene when jerry drops the switch and you are left saying "OH NO!" and such, plus how you explained the price accessories's price, which I'll agree it's REDICULOUS! is well done also, with you mentioning the price of, pretty much every accessory out there during the time of this video's launch. Plus seeing the scene with you mentioning the fourtune cooky for the wii u 4:04 I kind of giggled on the song choice, but then again, it suited the moment really well. And how you explained how much better the switch is doing better then the wii u was pretty well explained, and frankly I never looked up fully how the wii u failed in it's lifetime so...this was very informative. Plus before I forget, the very cute like face you made in 7:00 was halarious.....seriously I love it! Also the part of a commercial with the guy playing the switch on the toilet in 2:50, I thought it was pretty halarious and I thought to myself at one point "Oh shoot, they beat Balrog to the video idea." I mean the whole Idea of using portable system on the toilet I never seen until I saw YOU do it, which became the running gag of your youtube career in my opinion....and I can't help but say something like "OH shoot Nintendo took the idea from balrog" even though that's not true. Plus something I noticed in the video, which I'm not sure if you intended that or not but....remember what the critic said about the switch at the beginning form 1:29 to 2:13?...he mentioned he thinks it's pretty cool, not that much of a negative thought at all, yet look at what he says in 15:45 to 16:02 the critic was saying stuff that contradicted what he said at the beginning, you probably didn't notice that at all but...why bro...why?.....Well OH well nothing you could do about it now I suppose..... Oh and the fact that on 2:14 you guys "Teamed up" in this video was pretty cool. Oh by the way on 12:59 you actually criticised a target add for the switch by also showing some bikini thing....I got to say.....I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE DO THAT IN ANY FORM OF SHOWS, VIDEOS, MOVIES, AND EVEN GAMES! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT WALLIED!? FIRST THE OBSESSION WITH PEEN PEEN IN VIDEOS, THEN THIS! BRO! CAN YOU STOP WITH THE SUGGESTIVE STUFF PLEASE!?...and yes I noticed a lot of pg jokes in your videos and I wish you made all your videos family friendly on ALL departments!...Like dude! stuff like that is not nessessery unless you want to make porn money and I'm not sure if that's even your intention at all!....so STOP SHOWING STUFF LIKE THAT K? NOT EVERYONE LIKES THAT STUFF! I HATE IT! I HATE IT WITH A VENGENCE! AUGH!!!!!!........Sorry I just HAD to get it out of my system now. All and all though, it's a very informative and enjoyable video, and I like it, it's one of my favorite episodes of your video making career. There's probably more I could mention but I'll stop it there. Well that wraps up this video and....I expected to make a full on ending to the whole marathon itself but...that's not an option because you MADE ONE MORE VIDEO for me to see, and it will be a blind one this time because I dicided at this point to wait until this saturday at least to see it and give my "First impressions" of the video, and after that, if you don't have another video after October 24th then I can OFFICALLY say...the Balrog Review Marathon is OVER!...for good....and good thing too because honestly, I'm burnt out of this whole thing.....but I'm impressed I made it this far....so I minus well stick with it till the very end huh?...Well see ya next time for the FINAL EPISODE OF MY BALROG REVIEW MARATHON! Man I gotta say, this episode was fantastic! The way you presented each side of the argument is fantastic, and I love how you made Balrog and Critic more like friendly rivals than enemies. I truly mean it when I say this was my favorite episode yet. As for what I think of the Switch, it's currently one of my favorite Nintendo consoles as well, and depending on where they take it, it may become my absolute favorite console of all time, hopefully tied with the new 3DS for that title (my current favorite console).

Accessories that I won't need when I get my switch. 1. Joycon grips: I was at a friend's house and the joycon with the wrist strap is comfortable. 2. A charging grip: 20 hours of battery life says it all. 3. A pro controller. 4. An SD card: I only buy hard copies.

Am I the only one who is experiencing bad wifi for the Switch?? Like seriously, I can't play Splatoon 2 without undocking the Switch and sitting in my office where the wifi router is. Is it possible for Nintendo to drop an update that would fix the bad wifi??

now that i have seen the video. i still dont understand the 4k thing. i have yet to see an example and any example i HEAR of is that "well the PS4 Pro is supposed to support 4k" but its not inherently BUILT with 4k, somehow. like that was the entire point of Pro wasnt it? i say wait for 5 years from now and then we'll get the next consoles with actual 4k built in and intended and nintendo will do a mid-system life upgrade(maybe) like Pro and Xbone X.

4K on consoles is a pipe dream. Even the Xbox X with all of its power, struggles to do native 4K. I'm hoping Sony will do the smart thing and focus on 1080P 60FPS for the PS5 and ignore the 4K gimmick.

Nintega94 Switch doesn't have enough gpu power for 4k. Overclocking won't help.

I wasn't gonna worry too much about the 32GB internal memory, since I already buy physical copies of games unless a certain game doesn't have a physical release. But when I saw that my local supermarket was selling a Samsung 128GB microSDXC for $20... I jumped on it. So, I DEFINITELY don't see myself personally needing anymore memory for a long while.
