BREAKING NEWS: After 10 years, 4 albums, 14 singles and one EP - with well over 50 million streams to date on Spotify alone since 2015, and more than 25 million official video streams on KZread - not to mention hundreds of live shows at festivals and clubs worldwide, Loredana, the voice and co-founder of the SWINGROWERS is set to move to pastures new.
LOVE! will be her last single with the band.
This song is a suitably bitter-sweet end to a formidable career with the band featuring as it does, a beautiful and sophisticated melody celebrating the eternal themes of love, given an added poignancy.
The current line-up of the band will continue to perform farewell dates live through-out the summer 2022. SWINGROWERS will continue to release new material with a new singer in the autumn. Tour dates with the new line-up will continue in 2023. Until then... we celebrate one last victory lap with Loredana:

Don't know why, but this song feels particularly very nostalgic, even though I just heard it. I had to look it up to see if it wasn't a remake of something I've heard before. I guess it's because it's so perfectly fitting and satisfying! It's almost like, "how did no one come up with this genius song sooner?"

Oddly it never occurred to us that some people might take issue with it, we just wanted to show how universal love is. I wish we could have shown more diversity actually. I was quite shocked that in 2022 a few found even this much objectionable! We deleted the most offensive comments but if you use Google translate you can find some we left; believing in free speech as we do! Anyway, thanks for the love and give us a thumbs up for diversity!

Thanks. We wanted to create a video that celebrated love between all kinds of people, ages and genders, but also different kinds of love. If we'd had more time to enlarge the cast, we would have... But it seems this aspect of the video has been picked up on by a lot of people, either positively or negatively (which was a surprise TBH) but for us, we really don't intend to 'represent' anything - Love just exists in many forms; Love is just is a part of everyday life.... for everyone. It is to be celebrated. Anyway - really pleased you liked. x
