Swindon Festival of STEAM - Model Railway Exhibition - Virtual Model Train Show
12th - 13th September 2020 would have seen the annual Swindon Festival of STEAM - Model Railway Exhibition, held in STEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway in Swindon. However, like many Model Railway Exhibition around this year, the event had to sadly be cancelled.
So to mark the occasion, I've picked some of my favourite layouts from previous years to create this special Festival of STEAM - Model Railway Exhibition highlights video, showcasing a wide selection of amazing model railways, in a variety of scales and gauges.
All being well, the show hopes to return bigger and better than ever next year!

Really is a superb show and we'll worth a visit. Get to take in the museum itself too :)
Always enjoyable to watch your videos, it's also interesting to see how your camera work has improved over the years (it was always good to begin with).

Many thanks indeed! Yes, I spotted that too. Used to move far to quickly in the early years. Hopefully will be able to get back to filming the real shows soon :)

Great videos. Is there any chance of adding the name, scale & owner at the beginning of each layout? Really appreciate these virtual shows.

Hi Kevin, glad you are enjoying these virtual shows! Sadlly I filmed these clips a few years back and have since lost the program which feature the layout names and owners. However normally when filming (in recent years at least) the opening shot of each layout is normally the layouts name plaque. :)
Where is the LNER layout on the thumbnail, or is this clickbait ?
