Dolphins swam beside our catamaran in Maui and I cried. every time they jumped and clicked and blew water at us, I bawled. Amazing creatures 🐋

Mary I've NEVER seen a woman so full of life, so full of joy and so grateful for opportunities to make and share memories with those you love, as YOU have been sharing since you and Peter arrived in Florida. It's AMAZING to see you in such a fantastic mood, to see you living your life as though you have no worries about your health and to see you so dang happy it makes me cry. I thank God you were given this time with Peter and your Mom, that your lungs are healthy enough to allow you to enjoy doing things you've dreamed of doing. It is so evident that you are strong and do not allow CF to define everything you do.... Yes, you must take extra precautions and get tired but you aren't allowing it to steal these moments and for the first time in a very long time you can see the joy seeping from your soul! I pray that you and Peter continue to have the time of your lives and when you arrive back home that you carry the joy you're feeling with you for a very long time. My favorite animal..... I don't have one, my favorite part was seeing you smile and laugh.... Living life like you and Peter should.... laughing, loving, and making lifelong memories!

Mary is an actual Disney princess. She can sing ,and animals love her! I would pay to see Disney Princess Mary Frey!!

I loved Discovery Cove when I was there years ago. Everyone is respectful of the animals and all of them are free to roam where they want. The dolphins love the human interaction and come up for pats. It was incredible.

This was one of the BEST VIDEOS EVER! I cried when I saw how happy Mary's mom was riding the dolphin. Then the joy on Mary's face was just beautiful!!! Peter, Mary and Mom you guys deserve every wonderful moment. Wow Discovery Code is amazing!

I've wanted to go since I was a kid. Funny thing I've lived in Orlando all my life and still haven't done it. I think when I'm done with school in 2 months and I get a job I must go =D. I've been to all the amusement parks etc but never here.

can you imagine working at a place like that!! The animals look healthy and well cared for an i love the way they say they dont have to come out and interact with the public if they dont want to.. glad you got to experience it!

Anxiety Depression It's so not an age thing!!! I'm 59 and get all teary-eyed when my daughter and I go, and also take my granddaughter's with! Want to get to go again (EPCOT & Disney) as the 5 yrs old hasn't been yet and it's been 6 yrs since we've been there.... Discovery Cove looks like a place to look into!

I am just so upset at all of the negative comments here. Mary and Peter are the sweetest couple and so filled with the Holy Spirit. Every time I saw the beautiful smile on Mary's face, I felt like I was seeing a piece of heaven. The animals looked healthy and cared for. If you don't like her fulfilling her dream of swimming with the dolphins take your hate comments elsewhere. This is THEIR vlog, not yours. I shutter at Peter and Mary reading these comments. How dare you make Mary feel guilty for doing something that she thought was out of reach. She is looking at a possible lung transplant and that is daunting in itself. Can't you just give her a few hours of not being a CF patient? If those animals were being abused, Peter and Mary would have been out of there in a heartbeat. Eric Davis - you can't tell by the video, but was the dolphin naturally drawn to Mary more than others? I ask because when I was there, the dolphin was naturally drawn to me. The trainer asked if I had experience with dolphins. I didn't but I was seriously ill. I read that dolphins can detect tumors and other illnesses in people and that was my guess. It had to be more than me just being an animal lover.

It's hard to pick a favorite. I watch Mary's face and that smile is so wide. You guys are so special. I think my favorite was the dolphin.

It brought tears to my eyes seeing Mar so happy. I've been watching your vlog for over a year now and I don't think you've been this happy. 💜 Also, the dolphins and the sloth were my favourite 😊

I'm a DVM. Before going to veterinary school I was a zookeeper for five years and now I help tend to zoo animals at an AZA accredited zoo when I have time and energy (I have mitochondrial disease). Having worked with exotic animals both as a vet and as a keeper I know that most trainers and keepers in these places have the animal's best interests at heart. Watching how they wrok with them I can tell you these animals feel safe (body language tells a lot). While there are concerns and they are valid I don't think this is the forum for it considering Mary and Peter's position in life (i.e they love animals and wouldn't support something that wss cruel) and the fact these animals aren't showing many stress signals.

I am so happy for you both, what a wonderful day! I could not stop crying with tears of happiness when you were with the dolphin !

I was just going to say the exact same thing! what I don't particularly like about zoos, technically, is that there are way too many animals that are not living in a place even remotely similar to their natural habitat, let alone the enclosures. at least the animals that were shown in their video today and yesterday were in a climate that they're naturally used to, I believe. and they can pretty much live a happy life there. So beautiful!

I was VERY happy to hear that also. It reminded me of the horse performance called Cavalia (see that if you get the chance. AWESOME), they are so in tune with the horses and never force them to perform. Most of the time they do perform on cue though, because they are so respected and well treated. It sounds like Discovery Cove has a similar mentality.

from what mary was saying about how they treat and "train" the animals at this place its leaps and bounds better than sea world. let her have her wishes she deserves all the fun she can get!

This was so fun to watch! I loved seeing Mary's unbridled joy getting to meet all those animals. And it was good to hear about how well cared for the animals are, and how the keepers are so responsive to and respectful of the animals desires to interact/not interact - there is always that worry that a hands-on experiential place like this could be exploitative, and it is clearly not. Thanks for sharing that with us! P.S. my favorite animal was the sloth, close second was the roseate spoonbill at around 25:10 :)

This was so beautiful. I loved the emotions when you got to swim with the dolphins and I loved that you got to share a dream with your mother too, who had a similar dream. Your love for all living creatures is beautiful. I'm so happy for you. I was supposed to go to Discovery Cove about 13 years ago when my cousin came from Korea to stay with us for a bit. It was a dream my whole family had. Unfortunately we couldn't put the money together and my cousin had to go back to Korea. My cousin passed suddenly just weeks after returning to Korea. Then my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and my father passed of a heart attack. We can't do it now no matter what, so I was waiting when I heard you get to go. I still have dreams where we would have gone, it looked so much like your time there. Thank you. I'm so happy you got to do it. I am so happy someone so deserving got to go. Sending lots of love.

Lisa S There's nothing wrong with others posting to educate people on the limited quality of life these animals in captivity have. When someone posts a video like this, they are putting it out there for everyone to see - not just people who agree with them. That is part of KZread, that is part of life. I struggle with chronic illnesses every day as well which is how I found this channel. But that doesn't mean I have to agree with everything they do. I care about people but I also care about animals.

@@nicktheveganchick I don't wanna be that one person who comments years later, but these animals are mostly rescues or bred in captivity so freeing them would actually put them in severe danger. Plus most of them look well fed and healthy so I'm sure they're being cared for. Also people in the industry of animal care and humane treatment refer to Animal Kingdom and places like it as a dream for them because of how well the animals are treated, with over 1,000 experts, vets, and staff monitoring the animals' safety and health.

I can't tell you I smiled and even teared up to see you so full of joy. This was my fav vlog of yours ever, amazing day, so ecstatic for you AND YOUR MOM to fulfill a life long dream. heaven

I took my son to San Diego for his make a wish trip and he got to swim with the dolphins.... It was amazing!!!! It truly is a trip that our family will never forget.

do you notice any improvement in your breathing being down there? my nephew has a lung disease and they moved to the florida georgia line. hes been able to thrive since moving south from western Massachusetts.

Tracey Reeve No one knows what's ahead of them. I struggle with chronic illness myself. I also care about animals though. There is nothing wrong with educating others on how these animals are treated (behind the scenes). Animals deserve a good life too.

This vlog made me so happy. Seeing you all so happy and excited and living your dream made me feel so good. I was totally crying when you swam with the dolphins till the end. I love you Mary and Peter!

Considering all that Mary has to endure with battling CF I don't think that people need to be critical of her fulfilling a dream of swimming with dolphins. There are days I watch her coughing and my lungs hurt for her. The fact that she and Peter are able to keep smiling, laughing and living life is a testament to their strength and faith. I know many people who would moan, groan and complain about having CF (my relatives would probably be the worst LOL). This vlog wasn't meant to be criticized it was about being able to fulfill a dream and finally having the strength and lung capacity to do it and sharing that experience with their subscribers. Instead of being critical be happy that Mary is doing better!

Mary you always tug my heart strings! I was just about crying over the dolphin bonding with you. Espescially when he kissed you without you asking! So sweet. That shark was beautiful. Bottom feeders like Rays and these Sharks usually have their mouth on the bottom. They are the cleaners of the water. 😀 lol My favourite has to be the Honey bear or female Peacock. I love all animals so this would be a dream! It all must feel so surreal and what stories you can tell Ollie when you guys get back. I am sure he is having fun on his well earned vacation as well. Mary I just want to say I am so worried about your weight. However I know the team will get you set up right and you can gain it back. I just feel strange loving you guys so much yet I have not met you face to face. Just show how real people can bond with others over the internet. Keep the love strong and I love these long videos. lol I did not even realise it was a 30 minute video! 😅😍 I felt like I was there. When Peter sad how long it was I looked and went! It is always amazing to see how Mary's face always light up for the simplest joys of life..Keep the kid in you alive. it is wonderful to see because not many people at your age still have that.

This is extremely awesome and what people don't realize is that many of these animals are still around because people make a connection at locations like this and then donate and support conservation. So glad you had this experience.

Also if you research discovery cove AT ALL, you will see all their animals are rescues/exzoo/conservation efforts. These are animals that wouldnt survive n the wild and like the trainers said they train them to be safe for vet visits. Calm down, this place is so open and the animals arent forced to do anything they dont wanna do

People are content going all Freely the banana girl up in here in the comments but I bet you most don't even go out of their way to consume less plastic or contaminants to actually help the damn dolphins! Places like these help us understand and often save some of these animals. Not everyone is bad. And Mary was so so happy; how can you rain on that kind of parade?!?

Molly Mayor There's nothing wrong with posting to educate others on the life animals in captivity have. I struggle with chronic illnesses too but that doesn't mean everyone has to agree with what I do. I care about people but I also care about animals.

This video was just what I needed today. I have been in the hospital for 2 months and have really been feeling down the past few weeks. Seeing your dreams come true and this experience made me feel like I was somewhere other than a hospital bed and I cannot tell you how magical this video was. Thank you for sharing this with us! It gives me hope that I will get out soon and my health will be a bit more stable. Sending love and prayers!

The Dolphins do get stressed out. So smart ! Not right to just have a big pool to swim in. Dolphins need to be free ! My friend was a trainer . Had to stop !!! Very sad 😟😟😟😟😟😟

yes Peter and Mary are lovely people but everyone should know that animals are not for our amusement or to make money from them They should be viewed from the wild not in captivity . I find it incredibly sad.

Do you think people would donate millions and millions of dollars if they couldn't see and visit animals in places other than the wild?

I believe that these animals are rescued and can no longer survive in the wild. What would happen to injured creatures if we shut every facility down. There would be no one trained and no place to rehabilitate them. Instead demand for and support only responsible places like this. BTW dolphins like human interaction I grew up in Florida they come up to people so do the manatees.

Mary and Peter you are so genuine. That is one of the reasons I was drawn to and enjoy your vlog, but your love and respect of animals just makes me respect you guys more!

I love everything about this....I'm so happy you got to have such a magical experience, there is no one more deserving! I cried tears of joy at your joy!

I cannot begin to tell you how many times I went "aww" and my eyes filled up with tears at the amazement in Mary's eyes. You can tell she's enjoying every second of the experience, and I am so, so happy she got to have that dream come true. She's genuinely interested in all the animals, you can tell she really is passionate, or she wouldn't be asking all those questions and I love that. You guys deserve that trip and much more.

I literally almost cried when I saw Mary swim with the dolphin she earned this so much!!!
