Hello There! I just hate it when parents do that. Just tell them the damn thing like tf? What’s the point of telling a five year old that coffee will make them stop growing or the lights in the car is illegal. Explain it to them. Like for example most parents would say Coffee will stop you from growing when you are younger but when you grow older you can drink it. That’s wrong in SO many ways. First of all this child is going to carry that information with them for the rest of their life if no one really talks about it often and then the SECOND when they are aloud to drink coffee that’s going to be their energy support instead of natural energy. One day they don’t get coffee and they pass out. That’s what it’s going to happen. If the parent literally spent 5 minutes to explain to the child that Coffee isn’t good for children and also adults and how they don’t want them getting too used to it and relying for it on energy and explain different scenarios or life experiences when one relayed on it too much even if they were an adult. They’d save the poor kids life. Same thing goes from here, many families would have been saved from this trauma if she told her what her dad would have done. There’s no amount of “they were too young to- to- to- 💀” there’s no age of the dad threatening the mother that a 16 year old girl would not understand. Even a 5 year old would understand. Instead you let her think that you cheated on him and etc. Tf
