To someone who lives in a small, one-bedroom apartment, that home is large and luxurious, _in their perspective._ To someone who lives in a 10,000+ sq. ft. home, that house is average/modest, _in their perspective._ "Reality" is a relative term..

Jonathan Macdonald - Akbar That could be. Or he genuinely believes 3,500sqft is modest. His language was in reference to his home. Even in 1,000 acres though, a 3,500sqft home is not really modest. It is a trubute to his ego. Please dont think I judge how people live, I just know the difference between what is needed and, what is an indulgence. People are often happier with less. Having more has its rewards occasionally but, I notice most people are under constant stress to maintain the level of "success" they have achieved. To each their own.

@@Burn143 I spent a few years of my childhood living in the Detroit area.. You could usually start outdoor swimming sometime in early June, and continue through July and August.. But usually at some point in September, your swimming season was over with.. So it was about 3 months total, give or take a week or two.. While I know that Detroit and Boston are different, they both get really cold in the winter time.. So they are similar in those regards..

3500 square feet is just over 320 square metres.....our 4 bedroom 2 bathroom 170 square metre house isn't big at all so I think 320 would be a large family home rather than a mansion.....would love to have a home that large :)

I do this kind of shit for rich people. I build equestrian barns, pole barns, garages, churches, office buildings. I agree to it, I provide a service and they pay me well with money they worked hard for.
