SWIM BAIT STEELHEAD AND BROWNS, Keitech Easy Shiner Trib Fishin

Early March on the South Shore of Lake Ontario. Still some browns hanging around in the local tribs and some steelhead coming in to spawn. Decided to switch it up a bit from my usual tactics and throw a swim bait. Fishing the 4" Keitech Easy Shiner, color is "Sight Flash".

Thanks, it was a fun day. Tells you that all the chubs and shiners in the creek have to be pretty nervous.

Great video man. Those paddle tail swim baits are lethal for those post spawn browns. A different way to catch fish other than jerk baits or spawn bags. Loved it.

Thanks man 👊 Yeah they do work well, I was actually surprised how aggressively the fish were on them.

I catch a lot of fish on the easy shiner sight flash. i use the 2 inchers to catch trout, crappie, bluegill and potentially some baby smallmouth bass. just reel it at a snails pace and they bite it

Yeah, I've fished alot of different swim baits and I think the easy shiners have the best action. Like you said, you can work them slow and the tail still kicks. Thanks for watching 👊

Hell yeah, miss you brotha. We have to fish again together at least one more time before we kick it 👊 With a case of natty ice 😂

Was out on Erie trolling up pigs last weekend. Can’t fish again until June bc of daughters travel softball lol.

Thanks for watching 👊 I'm on the south shore of Lake Ontario in NY, but honestly I think you have better tributaries up on the Canadian side. Just have to get out there, explore, and find some holes.

    Barbed or barbless?

I was using barbed in the vid. Those hooks have a small barb though so they popped out easily.
