Great video and great driving also! Just love the audio - I could listen to that all day! Owned a 1964 998cc Mini Cooper, a 1966 Cooper 'S' and a 1968 MKII 'S'. Great memories of a wonderful car.

The magical MINI, that was very enjoyable, not much would get past these on Brit country roads. Really makes you want one.

Give or take that’s double the hp of a 60’s Cooper s, couldn’t believe it when he took the bonnet off and it’s still an A series some serious work has gone in to that to get 140 hp!!! Superb little car I’d love that on the road!!

Hillman Imp, another great little Brit mobile. Built on a similar theme to the Mini, but with the engine in the back. The Mini beat it into production & it never quite caught up.

My mini had a 1275 GT engine bored to 1340 with an ST 731 cam. Lcb exhaust and ad rover 2600 muffler. Gear box was a cooper S box. It breathed through a pair of 1 3/4” Strombergs. It went like shit off a shovel ......

Is the issue out now?

Not something a purist would do, but I’d love to see a classic mini set up like that but with a rotax 3cyl turbo (can make upwards of 245 hp and weigh roughly 115 lbs) or the 925cc turbocharged polaris twin in one and set up for rear drive.

Anyone knows what tyres are on these car?

@@Mahalo_83 Yeah it's borderline. Multiple line changes in the first few corners of a race is a bit rude. Half a lap later it would have been fair racing.

Is this channel the same lot as the famous mini magazine of the 90s? I remember once mini world had a project car stolen from crystal palace. They found the Engine I think but only mini world knew how to start it 😜

When men were men and sheep were very nervous I used to have a mini 1000. What, about 50 bhp? New that car like the back of my hand. Did expect to see a turbo under your bonnet. Was that an N02 bottle? Edit...Now drive a 340i m sport...nothing like the fun and road holding of a mini on rubber cones, and a good gear box.
