Few hours ago, they try to get up in the nest tree and install the nest camera for the new season... M was determined to make it clear who is the boss there :) I can't help myself not to post something, while the cams are still off... Hurricane Ian really battered our eagles last year. Who knows how many nest trees were destroyed. The amount of eagle visitors last year was significantly higher than previous seasons. I'm not sure how old this lovely eagle lady is, but it is certainly possible that she lost her nest and/or her mate. 🦅💙

What a beautiful and fierce female Eagle Miss Mabelline is and will be.👏🏻👏🏻😊🦅. I have a gut feeling that M15 and Miss M. are a couple and when it comes time Mabelline will be with babies and it will be so great to get to see the new season with this couple and their babies and also to see how the season turns out too. I’m definitely positive that they are for sure together and they are also quite comfortable together too. They talk to each other a lot which is cool. @topcatwarrior I agree with you! No offense intended to anyone, but my first feeling was that it seems a bit of a 'fast, bad girl' name. Especially for a young, beautiful eagle in her first mating season. I prefer just 'May'. It's the month she appeared, and it's a softer name without being wimpy, imho. M15 The Magnificent and The Lady May! 🦅💞🦅

Maybelline is a stunning female . M15 sure has excellent taste when it comes to picking his mate. May they raise a strong new family of eaglettes. She is a fearless defender of her new nest tree. She will be a fantastic mate and eagle mom chosen carefully by our beloved M 15. Can't wait for the next season of new babies.
