    Thanks for all the amazing badminton content Greg and Jenny! I'd like more training/workout videos where you work on each of your body parts that are useful for badminton. Such as lets say "lunges" and varieties to make them fun. i specifically struggle with movement around the court as I feel like my legs are always lagging behind. Maybe some videos regarding improving leg strength and speed? I'd love to also watch some vlogs when there are national camps like when training for the Olympics. Thanks again for all the videos. :)

    I just found out about the channel a couple of days ago and I'm loving it - keep up the good work! I'd suggest a video on a rather simple topic, that nonetheless bugs me from time to time - how to properly apply a new grip to your racket handle! I know its not that hard and that there are plenty of videos on youtube already, but I always seem to get just the tiniest kink in the grip at the heel of the handle, no matter how much I try to do it perfectly. Also maybe add some explanation about the different grips, how one can go and choose a type of grip, should you remove the original grip when getting a new racket, or putting one over it - stuff like that.

  • @BadmintonInsight

    @BadmintonInsight

    3 жыл бұрын

    Hi Ivan, thank you very much - we're glad you found us :D And yes, that kink is sometimes difficult to avoid! Maybe try pulling it tight :) We will add it to our video list but you're right there is lots already out there on KZread.

    Love the channel great work, it isn't new content I would love to see really but more on the Mental side, sometimes in a game you fall behind and it is hard to dig yourself out, so for me, you could get some of the great comeback stories and interview those player and talk through strategies that lead to victory. The game though technical is also mental. Examples of and from the 2 percenters would be lovely.

    I would love to see a rehab video! If you guys have had any major (or minor!) injuries and what you've done to help it along, how you felt during the periods where you couldn't play/practice and what other activities you did instead to train. I'm interested because I tore my Achilles almost 3 months ago and am now on the mend. Really keen to get back to the sport but I'm wondering if there's anything I can do now (within reason) to not lose some of my skills.

    We're really sorry to hear about your injury! We would always say injury is opportunity and a great chance to work on other areas of your body. You can do arm / wrist strengthening and technical skills like net shots and serves stood still as well as wall hitting, maybe sat down? :)

    I don't play badminton but a friend of mine told me to participate. For the video suggestion, I think about things that you wish you knew before you start playing badminton. That would give people like me some insights and maybe a liitle advantage. Thanksss!
