Fearing the Lord and taking refuge in the Lord are synonymous. I love it!

This is so good. It's beautiful and such an honor to be able to get with God one on one. The very fact that He hungers so much to be with us is astounding. He delights in and with us. He touches my heart, and I find myself hungering for even more. Oh Jesus, take me deeper and higher. 💚💚💚

This is so good. I have been battling with temptation to use alcohol to get me through this lockdown. This is exactly what helps me resist... and comfirms how Jesus has been trying to help me. He gave me the scripture about the women at the well.. only through drinking in the presence of God and receiving through stillness will I come through this stronger and not weakened 🙏🏽

@Eric Gilmour Often times I have several important things to do at the same time, because they all have the same ultimatum, but when I spend time with Jesus I can't get enough of him. One of us always wants it to be just a little longer. It's in these moments of wanting fellowship with him to last just a little longer, where these voices come in reminding you what you SHOULD do INSTEAD OF spending time with Jesus. I can spend 1 or even 2 hours with him and yet I never get enough of him. Just a few days ago I longed so much for his presence that I would spend half a day with him and afterwards feel guilty, because I didn't get my homework for this day done. Is this normal or do I need to be worried about something?

Eric! So much I want to tell you. Hey I'm 17 and relatively new in building my faith and wanted to ask whether you are filled with the holy spirit and speak in tongues only after you get baptized in water or was Cornelius a special case, I've been asking. I just was wondering if you could please pray for me to soon get baptized in water in Jesus name because this lockdown makes it difficult. I just want to serve Jesus but I feel like the enemy is attacking my faith by fear and anxiety through condemnation, shame, guilt, past mistakes, and unclean/unholy thoughts. It kind of takes away from my peace, joy, and sound/still mind. Just need some encouragement, and any prayer for me helps. GOD BLESS EVERYONE WHO READS THIS.

@Jonathan Ruboneka You will get through because Jesus wants you to prosper and experience Joy in his name. When you learn and understand the devil has already been judged and he truly has no power, then you will see and feel he has no effect on you, because you truly trust love and have faith in the lord. You belong to Jesus and God, Trust in him, and the devil will flee. :) Amen. Take refuge in him, place all your fears worries, and concerns at his feet, he will listen to you with love, compassion, and understanding. Eric has assisted me so so much via his teachings. As for speaking in tongues, just because someone has not been graced with this gift does not mean they are not Christian and that they do not love the Lord. I don't speak in tongues, initially, I believed that I had not been saved because of this, because quite a few say f you do not have the gift of tongues then you are not reborn. This is a lie, don't believe it :) I too want to get baptised in water too, some people have said I can do this alone in the tub , but I am hmmmmm about it. I wish you many blessings and much love in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Friend, you can be filled with Holy Spirit before or after baptism. But the key to finding Jesus and being filled with His Spirit is repentance first. Repent and receive the Holy Spirit. Find someone who you know is Spirit-filled, have them lay hands on you in faith to receive the Holy Spirit. That person can baptize you as well. I know we're accustomed to going through a ceremony for baptism, but remember Paul in Acts 9. An unknown disciple named Ananias laid hands on Paul and he received the Holy Spirit and was immediately baptized. There was no crowd, he didn't wear special clothes. His heart was set on Jesus. It's not where you get baptized that matters. You could even be baptized in a bathtub, in a lake, or in a pool, just as long as you are ready to give your entire being to Jesus and you've repented of your sins and are submerged under the water. Don't delay. As you read these words, I release the anointing of God into your life in Jesus' name! You are loosed from your anxiety. The spirit of condemnation is leaving you right now in Jesus' name. Shame is being taken from you in Jesus' name. The power of God is going into your mind right now to bring you peace. Your thoughts are turning into ones from Heaven by the power of Holy Spirit, right now. The power of Jesus is removing every bit of darkness on your soul. You are being cleansed in Jesus' name right now. The power of Jesus is repairing your heart right now. You're set free in Jesus' name.

Also, the gift of tongues is for every believer. If you haven't spoken in tongues its is right at the door. This gift is the quickest way to enter into the spirit in direct communication with Father. Holy Spirit speaks through you directly to Him and this gift is a tool. As Holy Spirit speaks through you, demons that you cannot see with your natural eyes are affected negatively because they hear the voice of Holy Spirit speaking. When you speak in this language, the atmosphere around you is supernaturally affected to push away darkness and invite the Presence of Jesus. Practically, speaking in tongues is as simple as opening your mouth, using your vocal cords, and letting Him speak. Don't speak in a language you know, speak the first thing that comes out. He is not going to control your vocal cords, but when you yield to Him by speaking, He will speak through you. I didn't speak in tongues for 12 years as a believer and I thought I wasn't saved. However, I was saved but had hang-ups about this gift which prohibited me from releasing to Him. It's all about yielding to Him. Don't think from your intellect, think from your heart and allow Him to move through you.

This is so awesome beautiful and true. God is taking me intimately into the secret place in His heart teaching me His heart and His love for me and who I am in Him. He’s taken me back to my roots from the behind in Genesis 1:26-31 Gen 2:7 and Psalms 139:13-17 the Hebrew meaning for skillfully wrought is embroidered needlework, mix colors. He was so intricately and intimately involved in creating me each of His children in the secret place. Hebrew meaning for secret is , covering shelter hiding place! How amazing is that! So beautiful when we fully come to know and walk in these truths of Gods thoughts towards us. It’s changing me from the inside. Gods love ❤️ is so powerful and amazing and He never stops wooing and drawing us into Him! Thanks for this sweet word to truly seek Him in the secret place and let Him be my refuge 😍❤️🙏🏻🙌🏼

Why didn't I learn all of that (quietness for instance) in my church ? Christian for 31 years now, I haven't been able to talk about Jesus properly with my family, lately my mother died and is not with God. I'm crying for my sister that I love so much. How can I talk with her about Jesus ?

Maybe your mother is with God. My mom drank and was stubborn, knew Jesus, at least to some extent. But she did at times watch some Christian tv, etc. Then for a while she went back to her church. I'm not sure why but she quit going, it was Catholic. But she had quit drinking after coming close to dying because she was older, could no longer walk or drive to the store. She had to accept sobriety. I mostly didn't do much, had been going back to church (new, Christian nondenominational, Spirit filled) and got my prayer tongue this time, at age 55 or so. Did only as much as I could , did not witness. What little peace I had was all I had as a witness. I could not have the life accomplishments she had wanted to impress her friends with. I was mentally ill, her alcoholism did not help. I tried to maintain a cordial relationship, usually just talked about the weather or something. I lived in her house still, unemployed. I would go to the kitchen, she was often there. I would always get this weird, heavy dull feeling when I talked to her. One time I just thought, I don't want to be around that anymore. That was on a Friday. I did not see her that evening, Saturday morning I got up very early and left the house. I noticed she had rearranged some things on our front hall, things were a bit cheerier, she hadn't done that in years. It was not much, but different. I came home later, avoided her all day, got up late Sunday. At some point I noticed an ambulance and two police cars out the front window. One week before her 83rd birthday, she had died on her sleep, natural causes. My bro had gone to waker her up, called 911. That day or the next, I was sorting through the stuff on the table by the couch, and there she had written out the sinners prayer. No doubt some random Christian caller had talked her through it, or more likely she caught a tv program or read some Christian junk mail urging her to do so. It had to have been in her last days, it was right on top of the pile and she changed that pile regularly. I realized she did the best she could, in spite if a lot of hardships and temptation. There are accounts of near death experiences where God saves people who are atheists or lukewarm, they are completely changed by their very brief encounter. God deals with our lifetime instantly. Some people come back and talk about it or lead a changed life. Others no doubt do not revive but are changed, repented in that instant also, but God takes them home. I told some of the most spiritual leaders at my church that I was worried she did not get saved, though. They immediately said, "that's between her and Jesus." And they were right. Learn to be with Jesus every day, you do need people to help you. You need other committed Christians. Pray to understand people and your situation better, read about other people's experiences. Get to know Jesus and the Bible, the holy Holy Spirit and the Father better and better. You absolutely have to seek and find, find a church that will help you. I left my church, but am coming back, am watching my church online everyday.
