Beautiful teddy bear dogs. Beautiful mom. Wonderful family. My guy was 20 lbs when I found him in the woods! He had been a bait dog and his ears were also cut off - unevenly. He had scars and missing teeth. I had him for 11 years and had to put him to sleep 2 months ago. He was a sweetie even after his ordeal. I will always miss him. R.I.P. Bear, my sweet pup. Love you buddy.

It sucks so hard to lose them because the love is so tremendous. It gets easier but in the end looking objectively at Bear Dog's life, he definitely had some bullshit to brave but living with you for 11 years- he didn't get cheated. He got a mountain of love, a long winding stream of interaction,& a colossally beautiful rainbow of joy living with you which came after the early rainy days he faced. Tell Bear Dog to look for Baby, Beast, Floyd, Freddie, Punky, Squirt, Louie, Portia, Barney & Nellie- they'll take care of him in Doggie Heaven

Do you buy only products that have a cruelty free label on them ? Do you use animals in any way for entertainment ? There are vegans that will disagree on the use of honey. @@jjradV I’m a vegetarian. I just had butter in the crust of the Apple Crunch Pie I made for Thanksgiving, but normally I have to omit dairy products from my life, too! (Inflammation) I have a friend who raises alpacas, so I have awesome alpaca socks, scarves, shawls, etc!!! I love alpacas because their value is in their LIFE, not their death! (Plus, I love the FiberArts!) Leather and suede honestly creep me out! As far as animal entertainment, I am a Pittie Mom to two hilarious furbabies that constantly entertain me!! Such personalities!! How about you?

I am vegan, when I found out about the meat,egg,and dairy industry I wanted no part of it,I wish someone had told me about the cruelty of factory farming and slaughter houses years ago, I had no idea ! Your little buddies are very precious! I just lost my beautiful K-9 friend to a very sudden and unexpected heart attack. My heart is broken and I cannot help but cry when I think about him! I am a 60 year old man and my little buddy was 84 dog years old. We were family for 12 human years and just became closer and closer as the years passed. His name was Poquito, I meant for it to mean small because he was a cha-weenie, half chihuahua and half dachshund. I have never been so close to a dog in my life. I can see how much you love your dogs.

Hello Russell, bless you & beloved Poquito, sending love & hugs.. the heartbreak is so painful, we love them so much, & are so blessed with their love ..& saying goodbye is soooo hard ~ I lost sweetheart beautiful staffy girl, Two Sox Athena, 8yrs old, also very sudden & unexpected, vet said blood clot(?), at Easter, 7.5 months ago, still get triggered to crying most days, often more than once. Retired friends who lost their 12yr miniature schnauzer Mischa to cancer, the wife says took year& half to start remembering more happy memories than tears. Nicest message I've seen to a dog over the rainbow bridge : I loved you for all your life, & will miss you for the rest of mine.. 💖🐾💖 The love is so strong & true. Please look into animal communication. They are not gone-gone, just from their bodies.. Pea Horsley's book helps me a lot An Animal Communicators Guide to Life, Love & Loss. She has an online community too & teaches AC. Anna Breytenbach and Laila Del Monte are lovely to watch too, vids on KZread.. & Patricia Smith website.. & more.. we can all do it, some have more aptitude like with most things ❤️💫

Had to laugh about the singing remarks. I sing in the house often. Sometimes the cats curl up and purr. Other times they meow until I stop. I'm not sure if they are singing along OR telling me to knock it off!

So sad what the media have done to villainize pit bulls. One or two individuals at a time will prove it's not the dog who is bad. In the end it's the owner and the training, nurturing, and love they do or don't get that makes the pup--just like children who grow up to be reflections of how they were parented. Good job young lady. Pitties will overcome with their wonderful, individual, loving personalities.

Michael, I love dogs, but it is not cut and dry as you said, such as the recent story where a young couple had 2 loving pittbulls since puppies, then had children. All were so happy until little children one day went out with Mom and pitties, and the pitties without provocation killed the children and nearly killed mom, recent story. I can recall several like this, even an adult woman as this who raised a pittie from puppyhood, and I saw her on the news with stitches on her face recounting shocked how one day her 'baby' just latched onto her face, no reason at all. I worked as a mail carrier and you learn there is no such thing as a dog that does not bite. You just calculate what the damage can be, and pitbulls have more powerful latch on ability and jaw power and should never go with a family have children and eldery without having a very strong alpha person present all the time able to keep the pitties in proper place. Mostly pitties are great with adults, but I can still see that young woman with many many stitches destroying her young beautiful face. I believe this pittie in this video is docile and fine, but even so, all dogs can bite, provocations can be for no cause of the human, even as some dogs age, they become biters from brain issues, aging. The best public relations for pitbull is truth, not to over or under present them, then the right people can give them proper forever homes. At my age I would not bring in a pitbull, but 40 years ago I was a very alpha leader of my doggies, and kept/bred dobermans, shepherds, etc, never any worry any would 'dare' to turn on alpha mom, and I would have been just fine with a pittie.

@@viviangendernalik My boyfriend manages drivers for Amazon. Last year, a pit bull tore the muscles out of the arm of a driver... his right arm, his dominant hand. I can get on board with the "no bad dog" mantra, but let's not pretend that this is an incredibly powerful breed, originally bred for strength and aggression.

@@viviangendernalik while they don't have any sort of natural "instinct" to attack humans, one of the biggest issues with them can be mental disorders that can essentially put them into what would be for us a state of psychosis. Iirc, these mental issues are prevalent in many inbred fighting lines rather than professionally kept game lines, which makes sense. Whatever makes a dog "trigger" would be best for fighting, but what many don't know of course is that those triggers aren't triggers to fight dogs, it's triggers to get things away from them and defend themselves. If Chihuahuas could do as much damage as pits could, we'd see it from them I'd guarantee, as many "apple head" chis can have severe neurological disorders. Hell even a dog having a seizure could do something like this, and that's an issue that stems from fucked up breeding and standards. Pit bulls don't "want" to hurt people, there's really no dog besides some guard breeds that are naturally inclined to be hostile to people, they've been bred to be our companions after all... But a severe brain dysfunction is all thats needed for a dog to, unfortunately, go after people. Dog psychology is so important, and rather than have people go around joking about how "pit bulls go out of their way to maul children" or "they enjoy killing" or something, people need to put emphasis on how psychology and bad breeding practices can create dogs that can't even control their own bodies due to seizures and shit like that.

And one truth is that there were around 3,397 PitBull related Bites and 295 related deaths caused by PitBulls last year. Most of these stats dont tell much information - such as if the dog was known or unknown, was owned or was a stray, and such. Its also interesting to note that there are around 4.5million Pitbulls in the United States. Which means those numbers I listed above, account for....roughly...0.075% of the entire breed (so around a little more than a half of a half of a half of 1%). And while that super small number might be even smaller in other breeds - it doesnt mean those breeds cant or wont bite. Or that no other dog breed has ever killed a baby/person. Any dog over 40lbs has the ability to cause serious bodily injury to someone if it really wants to. All dog owners should be responsible for their owns dogs actions....because at the end of the day, if your friends Lab bites your hand when you go to pet it and it causes you to get stitches - you arent going to to "Well thank God it wasent a Pitbull!" and just brush it off. No - youre going to potentially sue your friend or expect them to pay the bill...because they are the ones responsible. ANd ill say this - while owning a Pitbull "at your age" is not something you would choose to do now...thats you. Everyone is free to their own opinions and life - but I dont think you should be pushing restrictions on to other people based on your own personal fears/bias. Adults are adults and can make their own choices. And they should also be responsible for all the choices they make, and the pets they own as well.

You not only have a beautiful heart, you are beautiful on the outside too! Bless you for being you!

I love that you sing to your dogs. I would sing and play opera from the radio for my chickens (pet), bunnies (pet), barn cats. Chickens seem to really enjoy opera, or maybe they are scared senseless . They always got very quiet! Animals can equate sound with safety, and of course with you.
