My favourite track of the trilogy. The best about this is that even though many can say that Vangelis has already exhausted his musical ideas and cannot surprise us, he proved by this track that he can still compose an atmospheric electronic blues.

Back in 2007, I bought the 'Blade Runner Anniversary' 3 x CD edition album that had this song (still have that album now), this song is a really cool song, when you're feeling distant and alone.

The lone echoe cries steadily into the nightly mist like a wandering fire. A Deafening silence nests itself inside of her tangerine skies While blinding sirens pierce through the heavy rain like arrows. Drowned in a sea of glass and buried in clouds of sand, A distant home is miraged by the memory of a cold solitude.

Wow, fantastic track! I've seen the film at least 5 times though and I don't recall hearing this, was it a soundtrack-only release (like Piano In An Empty Room)? Either way, it's wonderful, thanks for posting it. =)

Did Portishead put the notes at 0:30 into Sour Times? Really interesting music :-)
