You know what pleases me the most about this video other than they're playing it which is awesome to see young kids in the audience enjoying our music that we enjoyed when we were teenagers or younger in the 70s. God bless the seventies. And let's not forget the 60s where the 50s. I tell you what in my eyes. 70s was the best all the decades. God bless the seventies.

Loved sweet. But not as good as the originals, wish I could find a box set with all their good songs on it.

This is Andy Scott’s Sweet. They were more than likely playing live at the time. As this seems to be playback it’s probably that this video may have been overdubbed. They do usually sing live. Of course this is not the original line up. Brian Connolly and Mick Tucker died in 1997 and 2004 respectively. Steve Priest has lived in America since 1979 and currently tours there with his own version of Sweet. Best of luck to both surviving members and their bands on either side of the pond and long may the great music of Sweet continue.

"Are you ready, Steve?" Definitely NOT Steve -- the bass player for this performance is Tony O'Hora. Original bass player Steve tours with his own version of Sweet, while this is original guitarist Andy Scott's version of the band. The original lead singer Brian & original drummer Mick are both deceased (RIP)

​@@user-kp2qe7di3r Здесь на бас гитаре и вокал Питер Линкольн. Брайан Конноли - умер в 1997г. Стив Прист -бас гитара умер в 2020г. Мик Такер - ударные умер в 2002 г. Остался Энди Скотт он и сейчас выступает со своей группой (здесь он слева). Это всё есть в википедии.

Claramente solo moviendo los labios, y excepto por el cantante, ninguno es miembro original. Para la risa la presentación. Ni siquiera los miembros originales lo hacían tan bien en vivo.

I have been a fan for 50 years now at least. The albums were so superbly produced...and those vocals! The harmonies clearly were an influence to Queen. Then a lot of videos I saw they appeared to be performing to a backtrack (Top of the Pops etc) and I wondered if they could actually sing like that...and yeah they could. The actual performance videos are better to watch than anything recorded for any show.

Exactly! Some parts of this, especially the chorus sounded too much like the original. I'm pretty sure they lip synched some of it.

There should be a law when you buy ticket states live or lyp sync you have to let the purchaser know if live or not

To be honest with you I saw them last week. I have seem many bands and I can only say they blew me away. I expected what I have seen on youtube but they were fucking awesome. No lip sync. Yes fails - and mistakes - we are not all perfect but they rose to the moment and took it onboard, Spinal Tap 11? I give them 84 out of 5. I hope they keep going for another eight centuries. They are humble, funny, non egotistical and down to earth superstars. I can't wait to see them again.

Yeah really, they were performing live BUT for this video, the music in post production was overlaid for sound quality, I've seen it done multiple times, but if it wasn't live everyone in that crowd wouldn't be as hype or energetic as they are.

@@GrymsArchive I was born in the 60s and this song reminds me of my childhood and the relatives who are no longer with me physically: my father, my older brother, but who live in my heart. You can't imagine how excited I am to see "Sweet" exponents of Glam Rock ( although neither Brian Connolly nor Mick Tucker are in this video, because they had already passed away). The lip sync is a tactic approved by the music industry, in this case seeing them on stage as older men moves me too much.

I do not understand why some people think nothing better to do than to nag. This very old band (and therefore also older members) mayby not sing lip-synchronously, or playback or that a person has become fat or carries a wig. I find these comments superfluous. Considering these people probably paid an ungodly amount of money to attend the show, I expect the band/artist performing to give it there all, 110%. There's no excuse for them to be using playback or lip syncing in any way, what so ever. That's just pure laziness, not to mention them faking their instruments too. Should've called it quits.

"Just enjoy this performance" What performance? The acting? It's terrible. The recording? I have it at home. A lot of these people have already paid for the studio recording of the song. These guys sold a lot of albums. It's difficult to enjoy this degree of dishonesty from musicians I once loved. It's not just the lip-sync. It's all instruments - even the bass. (He's not even trying!) I wonder if this is how they did their shows in the 70s?

Exactly Ellen R. Just what instruments do they play or do they sing on stage and also have they ever written any number 1 songs or any songs that have gotten an inkling of attention? They should go sit down and snivel over some Beiber or whatever other shit they call music. You know the computerized music where there is no need for human talent. You have to dig deep underground to hear good music now but thankfully it's coming back. Going to Detroit next week to see The Claypool Lennon Delirium. Sean sounds so much like his dad and it just brings you right back to the Beatles. Gonna be a great show!
