Just finished my first ever square (Sweet and Fair), It turned out pretty good but I had to guess at what size of crochet hook to use as that wasn't included in the video. I checked the written instructions and the size suggested seems too big. Thank you so much for sharing the videos as everything I have learned about crocheting has been through watching on-line videos. I am having fun teaching my grandchildren to crochet. My grandma crocheted but I never learned and I feel that it is so important to pass down to them. I have taught children for over 30 years and I would like you to k ow that you do an excellent job showing how to do the stitches and proceed at a pace that doesn't cause frustration for a first-time learner. Thanks again!

I have followed your video and it is very straight forward and clearly photographed. I am going to try and use this square to substitute one I have in a kit that is next to impossible to follow. I was surprised how close the colors are that I am currently using. I noted that worsted weight was being used and I have DK. I will use a G needle and hope it will be large enough. I have to make three 14" squares for the center of the afghan. If not I will increase the number of rows to make the size I need. Thank you....

There are many squares on my channel to choose from. I believe Moroccan Window could be an option. I know many beginners have succeeded even with the difficult patterns with help of the videos. I hope this is true for you also 😊
