We don't want to sound big-headed, but the solar system actually fits within Sweden! 🌌
Sweden Solar System is the world’s largest model of the planetary system, to our knowledge. The Sun is represented by the Avicii Arena in Stockholm, one of the largest spherical buildings in the world. The planets are lined up in a northern direction from there. All in a scale of 1:20 million.
🪐 The scale is true to reality, but the planet models are pieces of art and not true depictions of the actual planets. Each model is connected to a host institution, such as a museum or a university.
✨ Coordinated by the Swedish Astronomical Society, Sweden Solar System aims to give people a feeling of the enormous distances in space, and how small the planets are compared with the Sun.

Woah!! Thats awesome!!! I laughed at the cute little moon after showing the earth that they include in the video. Sweden's solar system is awesome and very unique!! 💯🖤🇸🇪

Uppsala has actually contributed to this, kind of sort of. There was a little model of Titan in the middle of town, about 40 cm in diameter (?? It hung high up, I'm just guessing the size), but it's been removed now. Maybe the real Saturn will be installed somewhere instead?

Saturn is placed outside the old observatory of Anders Celsius, in the so-called Celsius Square in Uppsala.
