@@chucklord2956 Hi..little clarification if you may kindly clear the doubt: what kind of "stamp/status" you get on the passport if your "job seeker visa is approved (when allowed to fly to sweden)"..will it be "stating 'Job seeker or Business purpose' or it will be stamped as a 'TRV' visa on the Passport, "for the period approved i.e 3/6 or 9 months..the period given to seek job or setup business. Thank you.

@@rf8061 this clarification is much needed as the special visa category as job seekers visa or highly qualified job seekers visa is not yet flashed anywhere on Swedish migration website. It's status is little bit confusing. We need to find someone who has got this kind of visa.

Hi, Thanks for sharing the information. I have few queries and i will appreciate if you can provide a clarity on them: 1. My education qualification is already accredited by WES. Do i have to again get the copy of transcript from my educational institutions? 2. One of my educational institution doesnot provide transcript in digital form. Should i apply for the transcript and then scan them to meet Swedish immigration requirement? 3. For how many months should i consider opting for medical insurance as I am not sure for how long i will get the visa from Swedish embassy. Additionally, since i have to give this copy at the time of application, should i take a buffer as embassy will take some time in processing visa application.

1. You do not need WES approvement. 2. You need scan of original transcript and its translation. Get them from university. University need to print and add stamp and sign to transcript. Every university gaves transcript. 3. Take your health insurance till you will be there. For example, if you consider to be 5 months, you need 5 months period health insurance for that time. Processing time will take about 3 months. Consider that time. To be safe side, just chose start date 5 months from your application date. I hope I answered all the question you have :)

In this case your employer doesn't need to get you a visa. They'll have to just give you an appointment letter which contains all details about your position plus salary etc. Govt is giving you job seeker visa without any job offer.
