I don't do spiky shades either. Especially for my sensitive eyes.

I, too, am seeking multichrome / shimmer / matte reds. This video is just what I needed.

I would absolutely LOVE to see this with every color. I eat up these kinds of videos. But especially green, given that green eyeshadow is my absolute favorite.

I'm on a quest for true red shimmers.. so hard to find ! I have just three, Leon from Oden's eye (which I compare to every red to see if it's a true red 😂), one multichrome in the Gloss Gods Venus palette, and one multichrome in the pretty poison palette from Notoriously Morbid. 🕵‍♀️

Oooooo YES! What a fantastic idea! The perfect red shimmer was so difficult to find for years! So many of my fav red shades in here. Olympus mons has been a recent true obsession. It's so foiled, reflective sparkly, shifty, yet doesn't have a dark base & it actually wears fantastic even without a tacky base. I cannot stop wearing it!

I almost picked up that single from Odens eye with my Black Friday purchase but I decided to pass on it so I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts. I started following you recently and was looking for unique shades from Clionadh because I wanted to try the brand. @@seekingshifts they're beautiful. I'm probably older than you, but I remember like between 2006-2010 but seeking red shadows for the longest. Like this is when L'Oreal HIP high intensity pigment was where it was at and Urban Decay really was for the edgy girls. But now I have like BH cherry in top, glamlite icee, and glamlite Freddy. I'm drowning in red and my lids are blushing. Also idk if you remember when I asked about like a byop rainbow multichrome set. Don't feel pressured, if you do, don't. If you even remembered little ole me. I ended up just really studying terra moons pictures in conjunction with your lovely videos that I could use and managed to build a little curated multichrome and then I said no more money spending. 🙃

Red eyeshadow was something I was terrified of for years, and I was always told to try it because “it’ll make green eyes pop!” and I was like… isn’t that what purple is for? Lmao but ever since I found indie makeup, I’ve been wearing red so much more often! It really is so beautiful on everyone. So glad I got over my fear lol! I have enough decent red mattes but don’t have many true red shimmers/multichromes though. I wish I got the dualism shade! So stunning. This was so much fun to watch ❤ so many gorgeous tones of red 😍 thank you so much Riley!!! You’re the besttttt and I’m forever in love with your insanely beautiful sparkly gorgeous swatches ❤️❤️❤️

Omg do you remember those like almay makeup collections that were for different eye colors back in the day? Your comment just made me think of those 🤣 I remember I used to think people could only wear certain colors based on their eye color and now I just slather on allll the colors. It’s surprisingly difficult to find a true primary red shimmer/multichrome! I feel like all of them lean really warm or cool

This is so helpful and so beautiful to see all swatched together! Green would be most evil colour to pick next, but also: green. Maybe split into categories like 'pale greens', 'olives', 'true greens', and 'teals'? I am really interested to see all the pale greens like Ganymede or Echidna type shades. Would you ever make a version of this type of video for iridescents?

Omg yes absolutely I will do greens. Thank you for doing the most difficult part for me - parsing them out in a way that makes sense. I REALLY want to do a video swatching all of my iridescents- I’ve pulled them out to sit down and film with multiple times but for some reason it feels so intimidating! I think I’m just unsure of the best way to showcase the tiny differences for those who are looking for that. If you have any suggestions/feedback I would greatly appreciate it!

All this tells me is that I still desperately want Leon from Oden's Eye, and I don't think my wallet can handle the shipping, but more importantly, I don't think my oily, hooded eyelids can handle the formula, even the new one. I cry in the corner. Great video though XD Super informative, love it.

Ooh the cool reds might be a clue towards me duping ABH Rose Gold from the original Norvina palette. I haven’t been able to find one because it has an uncommon black base and a strong foil but these kind of look like amped up versions of that shade.

That was so much work! Thank you. Red toned colours are favourites of mine. I don’t wear it too close to the eyes because I look like I’ve been crying or dying or wildly allergic. Have you ever been tempted to makeup your arms with temporary tattoos and eye shadow colours? Have you ever just gone out and about with swatches? I’d love to see greens.

Id love to know if theres a reason why theres so few true red super textured metallics? 🤔 wonder if the pigments are just really difficult or expensive to source cause i have hundreds of palette and can count one hand how many i have and some arnt even actually good or truly red

Im on a quest for a matte red that doesnt blend pink on me. So hard to find 😢 and I dont want to buy a palette only for that.

Sadly I don’t know of an exact dupe 😭 it’s surprisingly unique. I wish Clionadh would release the Deep Sea Treasures Palette as singles! I have hope since they ended up doing that with the Dragonfruit palette

Horizon from pretties for your face is one of, if not the most beautiful true yellow shimmers I own! Kristen Leigh cosmetics potion is a stunning chartreuse yellow, or devinah vela (it has a blue/green shift tho) is also truly beautiful yellow shimmer!

Thanks for the thorough comparisons!! 🌹♥️ They're perfect for before Lunar New Year. I have my shades for this yr, but will likely pick up some singles sometime in the future. I just made my own Lunar New Year BYOP using mostly ER Harvest Moon shades, Devinah Fairy Fire, and the red and burgundy singles from Nomad's Hudson Valley collection. Hopefully Boo-Jee from ER looks good w the Nomad mattes. 🐉🧧
