You just need to promote the scholars, the likes of Mufti Rashid Mahmood Rizvi and others. But our problem is that we just watch the people with non Islamic getup and those who we think are educated.... I am not against Raja sahib or people like him, they are doing a GREAT job against atheism and secularism etc but my point is you cannot go to a random person like Mirza Engineer or the seculars and take the knowledge of religion from them.... That's clearly wrong both intellectually and religiously....

The main question is, who are the beneficiaries of these incidents? Muslims of Pakistan have never benefited off such incidences , on the other hand certain "policies" have been made, certain bills get passed in the shadow of these events.

Qaiser bhai, in my opinion, this is due to increasing levels of frustration. People look for outlets which will not have any consequences after. I don't see the frustration coming down anytime soon so consequences must be introduced.

What has changed is peoples desperation getting more n more extreme. People are desperate for justice, jobs, welfare and compassion. If you have leaders that are practically known criminals who get away with robbing an entire nations wealth, then people will turn to vigilantism whenever they get the chance. My last visit to Pakistan revealed that people follow religion on a very superficial basis. I heard absolutely no one emphasise the religious duty to promote justice, welfare and rule of law. A human life is the most sacred of all living things on this planet, and it just makes me sick to my stomach how this supposedly Islamic nation treats humans on the mere rumour of blasphemy. Afsos, sad afsos.

How about Educate the institutions first then come to the masses? When u dont have education in the institutions and the authorities and they are not implementing the laws and as per the set rules my Islam. Who is to blame more? For far too long people have seen nothing but corruption so then this vigilantism will creep up into the society and the enemies will take advantage. In idaroon aur hakoomat ko educate karo aur accountable karo true islamic laws implement karo phir awam bhi dare gi aur akal pakre gi. Warna lage raho rona pitna. Say NO to this Democracy of Hypocrisy.
