I love how the exchange of screen time to Bible reading challenge not only challenged Jacob, it challenged you as well. Personally I've done it since Jacob's video and my screen time has dropped 75%. Which is unbelievable because I want to read the Bible more and only use my phone for necessary things now

I loved seeing this video. Last year I went through a period of time. Where I caught myself, feeling guilty, and yet complaining I don’t have enough time for the word but spending hours on my phone. So I learned that it’s okay to play on your phone, just make sure your putting God first. And suddenly phone time became fun again, but so did the Word of God. ❤

Girl same I’ll be the one who is always on the phone but I need to read my Bible a lot more! I have had an amazing Bible time than I have in a month I love my Jesus time!

I also like the book of Ruth, she gave up going back with her sister and other family to take care of Naomi. And if she hadn't gone with her, she wouldn't have found Boaz! And I just really like it all in all

Girll I just read acts and started Romans, some my favorite books of the Bible so far!

Trust me if I did this challenge. I wouldn’t remember a thing that I read a day later . when I listen to audio bible while cleaning I focus on cleaning and don’t really listen to the podcast. “I’m like what did I read????”

How, my screen time average is 52 minutes a day it use to be 12 hours like a few years ago. I just don’t feel the need for my phone unless someone messages me like my parents. I just don’t like being on my phone.

Speaking from someone who just recently started to reread the Bible, the gospels are a great place to start. John is a really good one that exemplifies who Jesus is. Matthew is also a really really good one. Genesis tells the creation of Earth. For me, it helps, if I am confused, to search online for a Bible commentary to help me understand what I’m reading. Hope this helps!!!!
