LED sucks incandescent and fluorescent are the best to be honest.

I have just bought some led filament lights and quickly replaced them with the old cfls because the noise they were making was driving me nuts at night

Great choice. I could not put cfls in this fixture due to a dimmer switch but I definitely agree!

You really need a good color temperature around 2000 or 2700k for L Ees. Or they'll be not looking great.
