What voice effect was missing?

This makes it seem more like they’re the intermission while he’s the main driving force of the song. Makes Xenophanes seem more in control of the situation, from a lore perspective.

This is really well made! I love how you used Xenophane’s unused sprite to suffice for the laugh during Eggman’s section. Some people say they understand why Triple Trouble wasn’t made this way, but I think it still fits and makes sense! Love the concept, and your work. You deserve more love. ❤️

This fits way too well. Sonic being the first cause he's the main character in the sonic series and tails singing the tunes he heard after death and knuckles singing methodically and Robotnik at the end that represents Him always being the Final Boss in most of the sonic series

Eggman soul at the end is more of a "he who laughs last, laughs best"

the best part of Knuckles' part goes from being sorrowful to mocking and then Xenophane 2 feels like a glimmer of hope. It's perfect.

I know that I have already written about this, but I will write again: You know, after this mod, I wanted to see how Xenophane would already confront BF, Tails, Knuckles and Eggman. Imagine how it will look: the puppets united against Xenophane, taking the side of the BF. That would be epic! I also noticed something else: I noticed that during Tails and Knuckles' cuts... they seem to be trying to tell BF to run away. With Tails, this feeling is very strong, because of the song that he sings (and heard before his death), as if hinting that fate can repeat itself

To be fair though the entirety of You Can't Run removed the threatening feeling to begin with. I much prefer that he isn't actually trying to kill you and is just continuing to play with you and simply faked being mad in the first place to make it seem like Boyfriend is winning but was in reality nowhere close, as he brings his friends into the mix (plus Eggman). And then he just kills you at the end because he was done with you...

Now that I've listened to this, I didn't realize how Robotnik's part fits Xenophane so much. Awesome job Nickle!

This feels so weird, but its SO much better then triple trouble. Its almost like instead of exe controlling them, its the other way around. I absolutley LOVE it. I've listened on loop severel times now.

Since eggman normally cuts xeno off, there's something funny to me about how xeno cuts off knuckles. It's like he's sick of his song being interrupted

Who knew 1 voice effect could make a difference. Its the little things

This makes more sense to me then normal triple trouble, sure it's in character for him to send out his minions to try see what they can do against BF, but it'd be even more in character for him to give them less time, and for him to be the primary attacker, plus he could send them out to try weaken his enemies, seeing Tails and Knuckles like this would certainly make you feel uneasy.

4:56 that laugh is so damn good.

Can you please make a full Xenophane cover? One technically exists but doesn't have any of the special voice effects of Xeno's voice. I would love to see a proper one.

It's almost as if Xenophanes was summoning the others by singing those melodies.

Is it just me or does this feels like Xenophane is calling the souls to appear by singing some songs that represent them (like when he sings a little bit of chemical plant and later tails appears)

I think my favorite part about this is the laugh in Xenophanes Act 3. It's just so...Twisted. The look Xeno gives the camera is just too perfect. Highkey would love that laugh as an .mp3 file just to set as an alarm...Just so I can jumpscare myself into getting outta bed lmao.

Maybe this is a year late, but that's just the regular ol' Sonic.EXE laugh. Association dates back to the original pasta back in '11, the actual source being Kefka's laugh from Final Fantasy VI. Pretty sure you could find it online by searching for that name.

the tails part is actually the best part in my opinion, this sounds sick!!! earned a like and a sub :) EDIT: no one like this comment because i have 69 likes edit 2: dang it who the hell broke the 69 likes :(

This is actually fucking gold and make sense too Tails having that You're too slow ref is hinting at his death because he was too slow so Sonic catch up to him knuckles having those long hold notes is like a ref to how he is so protective (since he is the protector of the master emerald) so he is just trying to warn you while giving out rings instead of throwing barrages of notes Eggman should be clear enough as he is usually the final boss of Sonic's games and being after Xeno is kinda pointing to his personality as he is the smartest out of them all and being with Sonic for so long he should be able to find a way out with your help People might be saying Xeno is not fitting for singing others references (like the Chemical Plant Zone,....)but i find it super fitting for the reason that Sonic is toying with his food and is mocking that you can't save them at all so he is taunting you by showing who those lifeless corpses once were and having him appearing longer than the others showing that HE is the one who is in control and the others are struggling to even get through to sing their small part before eventually being push aside again

Man, I had been working on a swapped Triple Trouble since January with Knuckles in Tails’ place, Tails in Sonic.exe’s place, Eggman in Knuckles’ place, and Sonic.exe in Eggman’s place. I had even changed all the references to fit the character singing. Finished it about a week and a half or 2 weeks ago. I had a feeling someone had the same idea but I couldn’t dream of making mine as good as this because I have no idea how to properly mod FNF so that I can swap the characters without crashing the game. Only other problem I had was that I could never actually find a Xenophanes soundfont. Kudos to you though, this really is quite good 👏

dunno about soundfont, but you can manually replace every sprite in spritesheet off Xenophanes to Tails, for example(but do it very gud, and dont forget about glitch on Eggman(he shaking in Xenophanes part if you put him in here perfectly idk why)

if this was og tt it would be a lot cooler because you would think nothing of it starting with sonic.exe (or xenophanes now) but then you get tails.exe which adds to the surprise factor and leaves you wondering if they'll put other characters in here (which of course they did) and the change in bpm into what would normally be eggmans part shows xenophanes getting desperate and the laughing is xenophanes trying to calm himself after getting utterly destroyed in his own game

i just now noticed that xenophanes sounds like a pipe organ.

This is extremely well made in comparison to most other changed versions of Triple Trouble.

At 4:32 when Knuckles hits the double chords, I can still here Xenophanes. Don’t know if it’s just me or if it’s faintly in the background.

Probably cause the instrumental still has choirs to back up the usual vocals, same happens in some other parts like Knuckle's chords when Xenophanes is singing

With this, one can now make a version where Xenophanes doesn't sing at all, but instead having Tails, Knuckles and Robotnik song both of each respective section themselves!

i WILL admit that some notes in the knuckles part are incorrect, i would fix them but theres no point really, epicly cover tho

Sad part is, THIS is actually probably what you'd expect from 'Triple Trouble'... as it's... making sense from how this is Xeno's week.

The fact that the static in the middle of the 3rd part stays makes it feel like eggman soul is trying to take over,which fits just as well

I really like how Xenophane in the beginning has the little note effects that Tails would have in 0:29, along with the rest of the song. Moving on, I also like how when it gets to Knuckle's part, Xebophane also has that same note effect that knuckles would have at 3:07. And I absolutely love the laugh you gave Xenophane whenever Robotnik was supposed to laugh, just overall adds a nice little finishing touch. Overall, an absolute fucking masterpiece,

This makes me think that this was how triple trouble was going to be made because he has a laugh but only egg man laughs, I think this was going to be where the soul parts would be Xenophanes

Aw damn, this is awesome...

(DISCLAIMER THIS IS ALL HEAD CANNON) Personally I believe this fits more than the original, let me explain. Sonic EXE (or Xenophane) comes head first to fight you and he ends up getting tired so he needs to send in tails to show you what happens in his world to bring down your spirits (and to rest). Tails sings the last thing he ever heard before his demise. Then he comes back recharged and ready to kill. You manage to still go longer than him and he needs to send out another pawn. Knuckles who is forced to fight for EXE while he recharges. EXE returns for the final time before he is put out of commission and he is PISSED. He laughs at you because of how much of an idiot you are for still fighting him. He finally gives out he is nothing but exhausted. Before he has to retreat he sends out his final pawn to fight for him. Eggman who has been brutally murdered did his best but his condition was too severe for him to fight any longer. The only reason why he lasted so long was because Sonic was using the last of his energy to make Eggman strong enough to fight

Honestly i understand why they went with the choice of firstly beast's henchman then the beast itself but still this just feels more like something xenophane's would do.

Finally, xeno stop hiding behind his meat puppets and fights us like a man.

I prefer this, it's a big battle with Sonic with guest characters every so often.

This makes sense cus when Xenophanes is tired he uses them And when he's charged up he comes back

I like to imagine this is like the omega flowey fight where the begining is the hardest you have no rings and every mechanic in the mod but then tails comes and gives u rings then knuckles who punch out the faded out notes then eggman turns the static notes to normal and sonic.exe gets weaker until you win

What you did for eggmans part was actually fire

I like to think this as the actual fight that couldve happened with Sonic.exe after he raged at bf and went into xenophane mode. it makes sense since we didnt see tails knuckles or eggman till sonic summons them but he could summon them in this version as little distractions to throw bf off only then to get back to battling him with a different tune each time. Just a theory though...... You thought i was gonna say a game theory.....well youd be RIGHT SUCKA THATS JUST A THEORY, A *GAME THEORY*
