Brother Jesus traveled to the east and spent time studying with the brothers of the East. I recommend a book called The Aquarian Gospel. It goes in depth of the untold stories of the last years of Jesus The Christ. Peace 🙏🏿

Cessation of all sufferings, how? 1. Light - just as light illuminates water, fire, etc but itself doesn't get wet, or hot. similarly, body/mind gets pain, you the consciousness will be aware of this. 2. Asanga (unattached)- nothing sticks to you. A pleasure, pain, touch, see, hear., etc, nothing stick to you ..it has no relationship. 3. Satya mithya - rope does not become snake, similarly the transactional world cannot affect the real world. 4. Ishana prabhu avavayay - Consciousness is not born, die, change, etc. Consciousness is limitless, fearless and does not wipe out transactional world. As bodies & minds we are many but by pure awareness we are one just as we experience all same in deep sleep.

At 5:27, Swami says you cannot infer (alaksnam) this Atman (Turiya) but in other lectures I've heard Swami say things such as: "It's by the light of that Atman, the mind is lit up" and "Its only by the presence of this Atman that 'knowing' in the mind takes place", so the fact that the body is alive and appears full of consciousness is due to this Atman being present. So there seems to be many effects taking place in the body and mind by which we can infer the presence of the Atman (Turiya). So why does he say here that it cannot be inferred?

The atma cannot be inferred as its strong or light(strong and light, we take it from material universe), bright or dark(even this we seen in material universe/earth ) so whatever we felt, seen in this universe we can't attribute(infer) to it.

So where there is consciousness, there must be the atman. So I still don't understand why he says you cannot infer the atman.
