Chappy, Thanks much. For people who are unfamiliar with the tools you are using, it's a great video. I disagree with the comments from viewers who say it's too long; they are probably very experienced and get bored easily. Thin mild steel and aluminum are easy to form. I'll bet you could make a set of dimple dies from hardwood that would work just as well.

I lube up the dyes with a few squirts of wd40 as they will like to self center as you compress them(more apparent on pressbrake without the 1/2” bolt helping) and helps with mill scale, premature wear, etc.

How does this compare to the dies with the bolt in them that doesn’t use a hydraulic press?

Really dumb question, flairing a hole with a die like this makes the hole larger in diameter, right? If you start with a 1" hole, you'll end up w/1.25" after flairing(depending on the radius of the flair)?

I don't understand the negative comments. When you are doing the filming and demonstrating at the same time it is never easy. If you are looking for entertainment go to Disney. Such a bunch of whinners.

No... He hasn't. Also, he doesn't seem all that competent with editing, either. It would have gone much smoother for him, and then for us, as well, if he would have opened the box, pulled out the tools, then pause recording, spent a few minutes with familiarization, and then resumed. Also, it really kept bothering me when he would look at the other camera, when he was recording with the forward shot camera, as if he was looking into it and showing us something. He was showing us nothing. Just looking into the wrong camera. I know that this is a bit critical of me, maybe even dick'ish, but come on, Man... I like smooth-flowing videos, with stumbling and stuttering through it. This, is highly annoying to me. It then requires too much focus, just to understand what he's trying to do. Anyway, there is no shortage of other reviews and explanations on different videos, so I'll be going to watch them instead. Maybe if he put some lightening holes in his tongue, he could talk faster?

@@INFIDEL82AA How about making some videos of your own before you start critiquing those who have? I find it annoying when comments are made such as yours. What's your credentials? Ever hear of the saying - 'if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything'. Especially if you're moving on to other videos.. Come on guy - this is just a newbie who went through the time, effort and labor to put out a video. More than you've done!

You can buy dimple dies that punch and flare in one shot. That whole punch out first is a waste of time when you can buy the others for the same or less and skip that part.

Well... there you have it. The overall review of this video is.... Hands-down, Thumbs Down! I hope that this guy's welding cart turned-out the way that he wanted. Even though I am not a fan of his video style, doesn't mean that I don't want his projects to work-out as planned. Take care.
