ABSOLUTELY loved and enjoyed watching this Supers showcase of SVC Chaos!!! Another one of my MOST DEFINITE favorites that I've watched SO FAR.

Well, every attack that Princess Athena, Firebrand (known as Red Arremer in Japan🇯🇵) and Serious Mr. Karate have can be considered as a super. 🤔

He (as Wild Wolf) also has that move in Maximum Impact 2 and Regulation A

1:49 Maybe is just me but that move was introduced (as a regular special move) in Street Fighter the Movie the Game (arcade version)

Dimitri's midnight bliss is the most iconic super move. Thanks to him we got Miss X, Cutie Terry and Goeniko ^_^ The Capcom characters look really awesome in this game, except Guile (maybe is because of his hair) Bison looks better here than the Alpha games.

Miss X comes from SNK Gals Fighters for NGPC (now available on switch too), "she" predates SVC, and it was only natural they chose her as his Midnight Bliss version XD Also fun fact, Dan's MB version is his uncanon sister from his Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter ending, which was a parody of the Art of Fighting ending XD

Actually, a couple of the SF characters are...kinda bad. The ratio between Ryu/Ken's forarm and upper arm is terrible and Chun Li's arms are literal sticks. Compare with Violent Ken. IIRC, development on the game was kinda rushed and the SF character sprites here were traced based on the SF2 sprites

So this is the game where they took the sprites of Geese, Goenitz and Orochi Iori and put them in the console version of Vanilla KOF 2002 Why they didn't put Orochi Iori in 2002 UM?

The goenitz ones etc are from actually 96, also orochi iori were meant to be a prototype.

Vega classic super attake

I prefer the character roster here to the CvS one. The only problem I have with Chaos is the unresponsive control and iffy hit detection. If that was tightened up and given the same polish as CvS then it would be amazing. Everything else is great about this - the character design, the animation, and the music (much better than the rap and techno crap in CvS). I think the stark, lifeless backgrounds are perfect aswell. They really set the tone.

The game has a really bleak tone. I'll always appreciate a more lively tone to my fighting games, but the dark, depressing atmosphere really set this one apart in a good way. The OST can be really haunting. I also agree that it has the best SNK rivalry-era Capcom roster. Since, y'know... It's more than just "Street Fighter featuring Morrigan."

CvS have some moves that doesn't chain in the same method then KOF.

These Supers do a lot of damage

Loved that game, flawed, but still pretty cool ^^ PS. Since you did Cyberbots, any plans to do Tech Romancer, it's sort of spiritual successor?
