It was like -10° or maybe -15° too! It was definitely cold but when you’re dancing the “night” away in a packed nightclub. You get hot!

I wish that I could live there the people in svalbard are very nice, and I love the cold and 2 and a half months I'd darkness sounds amazing

@@Robdoesitall no money, and I work in security, I doubt I could land a job there, and I've heard getting a house there is difficult. Not to mention I got friends and family here, if I moved there I wouldn't want to move there alone

Years ago I read a story about a guy living in the wilderness on Svalbard outside Longyearbyen, in which he described his arduous daily routines. It was very Call of the Wild, and made his lifestyle sound very romantic. If anyone knows who that was or what the name of his book/story was, I'd love to go back and read it again.

Seems like a dream place to live however you can move there if you know Norwegian or/and english

The USA is literally the most insane and indecent country on the planet. I need to be around sane/sensitive people and low crime. Longyearbyen looks so nice and cozy.*

Svalvard looks like a great peaceful place.. but you do you have to know how to fire a firearm in Svalvard. Its common place for polar bear protection. You're going to run into nonsense anywhere you go. Good luck.

Hey Rob, what a fun video this is! What gathering spot are you at? Hey, I want to come to Svalbard in February of 2024 to see the blue light transitional sky between polar night and the sun coming up and just about every hotel is booked already for that period!! One that is available is Mary Ann's Polarrigg. The price is reasonable, but I was wondering is it considered a dump or is it a decent enough hotel?

I lived in Oslo and Stockholm in 1998 and I’ve lived all over the. These two cities had some of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen in my life. In Stockholm we lived across the street from an all women’s college. I was 20 years old at the time and I had a blast there. They loved American guys and my roommate who was also from Phoenix were smashing them out. Those chicks were so cool there. Montreal ,Canada when I was there in 2000 also had some incredible women there. I had lived all over the world and I’ve seen some gorgeous women in Los Angeles,New York,Paris,Amsterdam,Capetown South Africa but Oslo,Stockholm and Montreal had by far the quality and quantity of extremely gorgeous women. If you like blonde hair blue eyes,slim woman then Scandinavia is the place for you. All three cities are the coldest places on earth I’ve ever been to but the woman are incredible.

There’s an elementary school, a middle school, high school, and a university! There are many children and young adults living on Svalbard. Plus lots of tourism and hotels and workers. It’s a thriving community. 😌
