It's great that you and your daughter both enjoy motorcycling. What a perfect way to spend quality time with your daughter. Bravo! Not something you see often. I have a 2017 SV650. Great bike.

Hi - its Big Rodders in Ireland. Interesting video, Eve proves it's not all about horsepower and top speed. Hope your Lister D kenetic splitter is still going well.

Hi Big Rodders, ha! Yeah it’s going well. It will be doing a lot of work soon when the colder weather makes working outside easier!

Great video. Thinking of getting 2002 model sv650 myself. Many / much upgrades on Eve’s bike? Thanks.

Not many on Eve's, an aftermarket exhaust can, heated grips (LOL), and a passenger delete panel, tail tidy, oh and braided brake lines. Other than that, stock.

She has good style... . Convert the SV to a minitwin & get her out there on the grid in Bemsee rookie minitwins!! :)👍

No disrespect but its quite clear to see that the riders on the r1 and blade are quite inexperienced at track riding.

Hi Bruce, we are all about the same level of track experience, so it was a fair comparison. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

As an SV track rider it’s all too easy for litre rider to just twist the throttle to make up for how slow they are on the bends!

@@WSMK-oz6ru i understand but its also comical to assume equal skill level on both bikes achieves similar results.. the r1 with equal riders is light years an dimensions ahead. Me on my R6 would beat that r1 rider and leave the sv for dust..the r1 rider looked like a total novice who wasnt even making ground on straights lol which even if he cant ride should still be making massive ground on any straight just like you said..but there is a reason you dont see an sv in Moto gp the tt etc.

@@brucewayne2397 clearly the skill level was different, that’s shown in the video. That doesn’t negate the fact that the experience was the same. In fact the R1 and Fireblade riders had arguably more experience on track. The video just goes to show that a well ridden SV on track could more than hold its own. As you yourself stated, you can outride an r1 on your r6. More power to you bro!

@@tinkertime7165 if the experience is the same then it can only be down to the rider on the superbike not being as confident and using his bike to its potential where as the rider on the sv was more comfy (quite normal for less experienced riders on a less powerful less intimidating bike to push harder), i guess you could say that the sv is being ridden to about 80% of its potential where as the r1 is being ridden to around 20% of its potential as that is what it would take for an sv to be ahead or even be close, both ridden at 100% and the sv will need a calendar rather then a stop watch to see how far behind it is, yes i could beat Somone on an r1 who isnt experienced but me on an r1 vs myself on my r6 and off course my r6 loses hands down with an extra 70hp on the straights.

    “tearing up” isnt very accurate

It 's better than 'watch us average riders overtake other average riders on track' LOL! What you have to remember is, that is a little 70bhp twin and is overtaking litre bikes and we are all of similar experience. So, actually the more I think about it, 'tearing it up' is more fitting. Thanks for commenting, it's made me think.
