Good video, but shouldn't you take the opportunity to lubricate the caliper pins while you're at it?😊

H Thankyou, I could have done that but the gators were all good so I didn't bother

What about those blue print pads? Are they ok? Stock ones in my 2019 Vitara are bad, noisy and scratchy i now think to change discs and pads to Blue print set. Thanks for the video

Mine are fine,no noise at all, take a while to bed in like all pads but I'm very pleased

There's a modified OEM part from Suzuki which is lower-noise. If going after-market get pads with a central groove - personally I use ATE - look very similar to the 'new' OE part at 40% of the price...

I thought its mandatory to change the disc too always with the pads

No not necessarily, a garage will tuck you up and change everything. It depends how badly worn the discs are aswell

long as the discs are over min thickness (20mm) and not scored etc. no issue just doing the pads. When checking thickness, don't just caliper the 'gross thickness' - always check the inner and outer lips... the inner face often wears faster.
