@@Ashish-yi8lc they could atleast give this engine as an option. I know Swift is more appealing to commutors. But automobiles in india are always focussed towords commutors in all the segments. They can obviously take some premium for such engines for which true enthusiasts don't hesitate to pay.

@@rajusarma1033 and thats the problem with it, the price, if you think of it as just as a Swift, but if you think of it as a sports car it makes more sense when you compare it to its competitors. But lets not fool ourselves, you dont buy a sports car to fill a need, its a luxury and dismissing it on price alone isnt fair because unlike buying a regular 1.2L Swift to get you and your small family from point A to B the Swift Sport should not have that as its primary remit, its for fun and can occasionally haul a small amount of stuff or people. Sports cars are financial sinks not investments(less so than any other car mind you) you buy it with eyes wide open.

Company can remove some features like ADAS , heated orvm, blind spot monitoring system and some other things which will reduce the cost of the car.... But the engine should be the same as the European version.... But this car is a sports car and built only for car enthusiasts like if someone is a enthusiasts then they can consider it....😗

@@sagnikroy633 the South African and Malaysian market have them without ADAS and a choice of transmission, price wise, still expensive but cheaper than its rivals.

Great vlog faisal...honestly with every generation and facelift my disappointment grows with the swift..but not this one...hope MS lauches the sport version someday..why is ms not bringing this or any other car under the govt rule that states that manufacturers are allowed to import 2,500 vehicles without having to homologate them...

18:34 don't say hyundai kia . We know suzuki with lower power and torque figures in k15b proved to be better than hyundai's 1.5l engine, who knows that this boosterjet may surpass hyundai - kia's 1.4 turbo.

Everyone loves Swift,even when it was launched first in India I think people stick to it for 10-15 years irrespective of being a maruti one,that itself says it's a hit😎
