I have a '92 high roof. Fun to drive. The rough ride? Well, I expected that well before I bought it. Currently trying to match up the front calipers for my new rotors! Hard to find here in Canada. Some say the Samurai calipers will worrk if you do some grinding alreations?? Cool steering wheel by the way!

I'd be careful of pushing it too much, I watched another video by WP Speed, he blew is manifold from pushing it too hard, and that was after installing taller gearing in the differential. I just found engine oil in the air filter (blowby?) and I'm currently in Japan, driving at speeds that these are meant to go at. I typiclly cruise at 60km/hr. The fastest i've gone was 80km for just a few secs.

appreciate the advice but im actually thinking of going on a 12 hour roadtrip in the jimny, i love kei cars and doing fun stuff in them

Really helpful, still looking for my jimny to get sent over and I was concerned about highway driving. In my current vehicle I hardly ever got above 100 (kmh) so I don’t think it will be too much of a change. I’d be interested to see what your mpg is after changing suspension, tires, and sway bar.

Mpg for the jimny when I had the auto and now 5 speed has always been pretty good, if you hardly go over 100klm then the jimny should be fine

That turbo light is dope lol, that thing rips pretty good.

That switch on the dash that seems to cause a noise behind the glove box sounds like it might be the Axle Lock. Behind the glove box is where the 4wd relay box is usually located on a Suzuki 4x4. BTW, you can buy an accurate plug-and-play GPS mph 'heads-up" speedometer for about $40 from Amazon, so you don't have to translate kph to mph on the fly. I have one in my '95 Suzuki Carry. Plugs into the lighter and works great.

I kinda like the math behind not having a speedo in MPH lol and yeah i gotta look into with those switches because i want one to be for my fog lights

Yeah the only flaw on the these kei cars is the engine but it’s also a pro lol

MPG is really goos in the jimny i just got this one not long ago but i drove my AUTO jimny Ja11 from baltimore to NYC about 4 hours 250 miles on 1 tank which i believe is 7 gallons

I got a suzuki samurai. Would love to a comparison with the Jimny.

I sold mine but after I added a new exhaust manifold, hard intercooling pipping, boost gauge and BOV idk if you wanna race lol

Looks like it is doing pretty good. Be careful out there.
