SUZUKI GSX-R SRAD Update Part 1 | Carburettor Break Down and Clean | The Engine Turns!!!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Well, never say I don't listen. You asked for this extra bonus round video on instagram and I have delivered a video :D I'm not saying it's very good, but it's a video :) Anyway in this video I strip out the carbs and break them apart while giving them a good clean, it was also my first ever time doing these type of carbs so I'm pretty happy overall how it went, the carbs LOOKED clean enough but had fuel left in them..... :'(
If you enjoyed the video and are looking forward to seeing the GSXR back on the road please hit that like button and also the subscribe one! If you do these things the youtube genies might take pity on me and give me many views which may, in time, mean more bikes. At this point I may reach some form of happiness!! :D
Thanks for watching!! :)

Funnily enough these days I'd have them stripped and back together in no time so it was well worth learning them :) Ah also check your air lines from the air box to the carbs, if they split or pinch they can do that, you'll get a weird power loss around 7-8k rpm.

2024, fixing 2000 GSXR 600, any information if rebuilding carbs would help with idling issues. Blip the throttle, and it revs and stays at 3-4krpms. ONLY happens when the choke is off. Turn choke on, and the problem is much less or doesn't happen. Besides that, their are missing fittings, air/vacuumlines, wiring harness looks like it was messed with. spark plug connector to the coil for 3 was on 4 and 4 on 3. Any info or tips or how to fix? the series has been helpful so far on giving me an idea on what can be repaired. THANKYOU!!

Keep an eye on the fuel level in the tank. Every carbed bike ever smells of fuel in my experience. The fuel left sitting in the carb bowls evaporates over time and that's likely what youre smelling. It's an open system really. If you not seeing any leaks I wouldn't worry about it :)
