Looks and sounds like a great middleweight, nice spec and hopefully will be well priced to make it available in these tough times. Well done Suzuki.

Expect 82 grand British pound. Not so competitive. The new Honda Hornet might be a better bang for your buck
Can you guys please develop a GSX-3S or GSX-4S as Suzuki range is void in this area. a 125cc is too small and I don't need a 600+. I'd order a GSX-4S in this style if it were available.

Indeed indeed, no more than 140 kg and around 40 hp.
Unfortunately, I cannot fully admire this model as I am mourning the loss of the GSXR 1000 R. My pain has no end.

@@aequitas8749 So you think that there is a hope for new GSXR 1000 R with a new engine?

@@dariuszek4dead , definitely not, too much R&D for Suzuki to see the benefits of.

@@dariuszek4dead , the Japanese manufacturers are switching from inline 4s to parallel twins for their line of bikes
You should have named it the Bandit, remake the classic mark
Made me laugh how they are very politely but deliberately explaining why they think the Hornet is rubbish & the Suzuki is better lol. Either way I like the 8S & I will look forward to testing one next year. Ideally it should probably have had about -10kg & +10bhp but it's by no means a deal breaker for me & I will reserve judgement. How long before the GSX8GT & GSX-8R are released I wonder.
Hey What about GSX-s750 it’s a true middle weight….is it getting updated or discontinued?
No way this is now a parallel twin. Damn.

Website shows blue, white, and black as initial offerings. I’m also hoping for a yellow/black color scheme like my late 2004 GSX-R750. 👌🏻🔥
Looks like a great bike, more power would be good but with exhaust and ecu flash it will probably do 90 hp wheel

that may be the prob with this bike, the new honda 750 hornet knocks out 92hp, if the suzuki hasnt got the numbers it may suffer in the sales department
wow

It’s no Monster, and will never be. And the Monster has been ruined too…
Now that's a funny video ...
Personallly for me the MT-07 is still the better looking. Hate the tail end and there is something about the front side profile of the S8 that seems incomplete to me. I get alot of DUKE vibes from this bike but KTM did it better.
Thrill? ^^ You had a special midsize with the inline 4... could have saved inventing the 2 balancers to fix the issue you just created. So the thing is to have one more "to obese for offroad - adv" and this is the byproduct. 800cc parallel twins, doesn't sound fun to me if I remember the bmw f800 and ktm 790 naked. Curious how many of those 800 twin nakeds suzuki will sell, looking at an already full market. You are like 10 years late with that.
Probably better off to just the the 1000 no ?
Suzuki, please stay away from all these electronics, this was a huge reason I traded my triumph 1200RS for the suzuki gsxs1000, turn the key and be part of the bike,
It’s too heavy!
