Thanks man! I got a 2008 Suzuki Forenza delivered to my shop in boxes, so, this video was reassuring to the way I put it back together. I now know it was performed correctly during reassembly, big help!

Put that left pulley on last after the belt is on and it will be very easy!

Hello! I have a question. I have an 04 forenza that someone put back together, and he used the wrong bolts in the wrong spots for the mount that attaches the Power steering pump to the engine. Can you tell me what bolts go where so I can fix it, the whole assembly is wobbly and the only right bolt broke

It is buried in behind the ac compressor on the lower part of the engine. I believe at least the ac compressor will need unbolted and slid out of the way, possibly the power steering pump as well. Thanks for the feedback.

when my engine is at TDC and i rotate the crankshaft twice for one full revolution of the cams, the cams stay in alignment however the crankshaft ends up being off just slightly. Somehow it's "skipping" a tooth, any idea how I can avoid this? Unless the mark on the sprocket is just slightly off a tooth I don't see what I can be doing wrong here

Usually it has to do with slack on the right side. You may have to take up a tooth on the crank and rotate it around and see how it looks. Now it will never be perfect , as there is some play , but it should'nt be a whole tooth off. Hope this helps .

@@s33therfan You are correct Update/fix for those with the same problem. I rotated the crankshaft off of dead center, white mark a bit towards the right, then routed the belt around both cams, crank & tensioner. (cams clamped) I then rotated the crank back to dead center with the belt partially on removing all slack from the right side, pulled the belt to the water pump & around the left idler, installed left idler, tightened tensioner properly, rotated engine, perfect TDC still.

My problem is I can't get the arrow to move correctly! It is in the groove. The pulley moves, but the arrow will not. I know I'm missing something because it does this on both, the old and new pulley
